Sign all those guys! It's only the Summer, but not one of them missed the basket. At All. Also, nice D Jordan.
Indy's law firm must show what evidence they have as part of discovery. The fact that they apparently showed none in their filing (based on the Laker's confidence in this being dropped) and their requests for communications that may have occurred is pretty weak. It seems to me like they plan to turn Magic's winking on TV into a case. GL with that.
So PG was Iiterviewed on the Mayweather/McGregor weigh-in He was asked about the LA talk and OKC He doesn't sound like he changed much his mind Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
As an organization, the Lakers can pay that and be done with it. Glad to hear this is over. This summer has been very eventful.
PHEW! All is right in the world! But how are they able to fine us anything when the conversation between Rob and George's agent could have been about Randle or D-LO? Do they have a recording of that conversation? Or was it an email or text?
So what did they find that was George specific? Mintz is the agent of Russell and Randle too. Was there some specific interaction that didn't pertain to those two that the NBA found? Because otherwise this is a farce.
Honestly, I don't see anything. This sounds like another round of BS just to appease the other whining owners to me.
Exactly my thoughts! This sets a very dangerous precedent if they're just basing this off of phone calls made. Now of course the phone calls coulda all been about George...but they also coulda all been about Russell or Randle. I'm interested to know what these "communications" were....were they text messages? emails? coded messages? or did they have recorded phone calls? did they take PG's agent's deposition and he admitted that the phone calls were about PG13? That's what I would like to know because this $500K is absolute BS if it was just phone calls they're basing it off of.. if there's actual text messages and emails about PG13 from Rob to George's agent....then Rob is pretty stupid and we escaped a potentially crippling punishment. I sure hope it was just phone calls but if it's just that, I'm even more pissed that once again the league is making an example out of the Lakers.
