I'm not all that relaxed about this situation. There is too much vagueness and ambiguity in the NBA's rules regarding tampering. If the NBA are still in b****slap mode as regards the Lakers they can cause big problems and trip up a lot of the good feelings we've had of late. We'll see where we stand shortly. This is an area Pelinka probably has experience with so hopefully he put in some safeguards in terms of operational procedure in with the FO execs so they come out clean in this.
Meh, worst case is our team improves massively through growth and hard work, and not being fat, and we resign Pope and Lopez and add from there. I think we'll actually be a playoff team regardless. It will take a couple of years to get to where we want to be, but it's doubtful anyone is beating Golden State for a couple of years unless there are injuries.
I think now the NBA is forced to play along,ensure everything is cool and move on. Just part of the business and provide security to the other owners...though we all really know the deal lol. Also public perception.
