What did I miss? Why "bad attitude"? "His bad attitude. Dribbles too much. Shoots too much. Did I mention bad attitude?"
What would i gain from listening to a failure like him? Its no surprise he hasnt gotten another hc job since that job
For the record not many of the young guys improved (even with luke), its why dlo got traded too and considering we gone through 3 coaches in 4yrs or do, its a lil difficult to improve drastically
You guys are killing me. Jordan hasn't improved. What do you want me to say? It's fact. Look at the results and his play. I'm not in the corner of my room plotting about who i want to s*** on today for no reason.
Jordan needs to stop the iso ball & live up to his potential as a defender. Hopefully playing with Lonzo will get him enough easy baskets that he wont feel the need to iso so much & the easy baskets will lead to energy on defense.. That my wish for JC. He's got to show it though..
i think with everyone being convinced that we're getting stars next year, it's sort of soured people on clarkson and randle. had the george situation not occurred, i'm guessing people would be saying more positive things about those two right now. instead, they are impediments to our impending greatness.
I'm still pretty high on Julius... I'm just willing to move him. I don't hate Jordan, but I am a little frustrated that he ended up plateauing last year. He's regressed as a point guard quite a bit since his rookie season and his defense just never materialized. I still think he's a great sixth man candidate though. Besides, if Vander Blue can look like a solid player next to Lonzo, Jordan can definitely do it too.
There's probably some truth to this. To say Jordan has showed zero improvement is not true, but the scant amount that he has shown is likely proof he will be nothing more than a solid 3rd guard in a 3 guard rotation. Can he win 6th man of the year? No. Not unless he does something very few people do at his age and he makes a drastic improvement on both sides of the ball. As for Julius, I still like him, and as I've said before, my ideal scenario is he gets good enough that just adding PG-13 will get us into contention in 2-3 years and we don't have to sell our souls to his Majesty. But I am also realistic in that Julius is always going to be limited with his obvious lack of natural basketball IQ, the kind that you can't teach.
you dont need to play both sides of the ball to win 6th man, Crawford/Lou never played a lick of D in their life, they're just exceptional offensive players
You can't play zero defense. JC is completely non-existent. His offense won't improve enough to get to the point where he's at Lou/Crawford level, so he needs to be somewhat adequate on D.
if he avgs 14-15 he's in line for it, thats the range crawford was in when he won those awards doing much of nothing else but scoring.
Crawford was also on "contending" teams at the time. If you look back at that award, it almost seems like a prerequisite that you have to be on a 50 win team. Jordan will have to come in scoring 17-18 a game and be a decent defender if he want to even sniff the award this season cause we aren't winning more than 40 games in even the most optimistic of predictions.
I do not see Jordan here after next year regardless. Randle has a slight chance of staying beyond next year but if it's between getting 2 max stars and Randle, come on. My prediction is Randle will be the Harrison Barnes next year when Lebron comes here and you don't need him anymore. If Lebron doesnt, that's his chance at staying IF he plays well.
Clarkson and Randle are pretty much goners after this season. Time to accept it. Magic is trying to sell high on these 2 at the deadline.
