You don't remember his first go around ? Was pretty disappointing

I'd go after DWill. He's a bigger size guard so can have a similar perspective to Zo. He was also amazing at the PnR so he can help Zo add that to his game.

Of course it was disappointing, Potato Head used him like Fisher, bring the ball up the door, give it to Kobe, go stand in the corner. His worst peformance was the playoffs vs OCK though, he froze up and sucked. All that said, we aren't making the playoffs so that's not an issue. He also won't be a starter so that's not an issue. As a backup he'd be probably the best player we could get. And I'm not high on Deron Williams, if he's not done he's close to it, plus he probably wants to ring chase, not mentor here.

Man, the hate for this kid is real. I know I shouldn't have, but clicked on the ESPN comment section on his SL MVP article and just saw a bunch of trolls on there. LaVar certainly did him a disservice, but it also looks like ESPN's constant coverage is also pissing people off. I have to admit, this was part of the reason I couldn't stand LeBron when he first came into the league... with the press anointing him the chosen one before he even accomplished anything. Anyway, I'm sure as more people actually see him play and see his demeanor, he'll eventually shut the haters up.

His dad is a loud mouth, but he provided a way for his son to make it to the NBA and has built a buzz around him like no rookie in a decade. I don't think he's done his son a disservice at all.

I hear you Real, certainly not in the way he brought him up or taught him the game, but just in the last few months of hyping him. But I suppose the hype has brought more good than harm, with the exception of non-Laker fan opinion.

Hopefully Lonzo can transform our offense and we can have a 16-17 Nuggets light like season .

I don't expect us to end up at 4th in offense like Denver cause of our lack 3pts shooting but top 8-10 would be great

Lavar is doing a good job. And to be frank, his hubris is probably breaking any limit thinking that players have about what they can do with their careers. That is what I like about LeBron and Kobe, Jay-Z, Master P, etc. Show these players that you can do more than just shoot a 3 or put together a catchy beat.

Dare I say we need more Lavar's.

More like Westbrook has zero shooting around him and teams just suffocate him because his teammates can't shoot worth a crap.

He dominates the ball because nobody else on that team is any good outside of maybe Adams.

There are plenty of times when Westbrook penetrates and kicks and tries to get his team mates involved and they can't knock down shots to save their lives.

It's just like in 2006 and 2007 when Kobe was labeled selfish or a ball hog because his supporting cast with the exception of Lamar were garbage.

He has to take over and dominate because that team has no other options. No shooters. No shot creators. Not a very good coach either.

Listened to the vertical podcast and Howard Beck was on. They touched on Lebron leaving briefly, saying how months ago they doubted it but now they think its more 50/50. They kept honing in on the fact Lebron doesn't do anything unintentional.

Beck also said when Lebron was at the SL league for Lonzo he was commentating on it to his friends the whole game. Saying stuff like "Yeah thats the shot you want there" "Thats the right play there" etc.
