I'm not sure many people would be waiting at the airport... but we'd also give him a private airport and a private plane and a private car to the press location... where there'd be an enormous crowd.

Glad you mentioned that. I was getting salty 9 seconds in...

We gave Dwigt a private jet during All-Star weekend.

Not really. But if they'd come to like him so much which most probably they would.. Maybe.

Somehow, I'm excited to see PG play alongside another legit top tier player. The best player he's played with is Hibbert you know.

The Russell trade was even worse for this reason specifically. Any extra wins could be attributed to a respectable rental that'll be gone, instead of a building blocks development.

How do you know it's worse?

Brook Lopez will contribute just as much if not more than Russell. Mozgov isn't even a thought.

Do you not get what I'm saying? I'm saying, if Brook Lopez produces big numbers, it wont be seen as production from a building block. Its like looking at OKC next year and assuming they'll have their same win count if they lose PG and/or Westbrook.

That's fine. You realize Russell was traded to even make going after PG possible right? So your premise is shot

According to the previous articles before the DAR trade, as long as PG wasn't eligible for the super max (by not making an all-nba team) the Lakers could have signed him outright. This is with a projected cap of 103 million in 2018 iirc.

Sorry this was only the case if the randle hold was released, deng/moz were stretched, or the higher picks were traded away.

dont pull my man card but I watch 90 day fiance with the wife, and there is a couple on the show where the wife is a columbian from columbia and she hated OKC and could has now forced her american husband to relocate to Mia. She says pretty much what you'd expect, okc is bland, boring with no diversity and pretty much nothing to do there.

My wife watches that show so I have seen some things in passing. I guess his name is Mohammed...I don't even know if I would call him a D-Bag. He basically is like Mozgov. Some chick agreed to marry him and not question anything about the situation, so he seized the opportunity. Who's really at fault when someone does something as stupid as "cat lady" does?

Not great news for us. Basically we are hoping we can pull of a Miami next season and sign the two best players in FA. That's once in a blue moon kind of stuff.

I always felt George wanted to win more than anything else and this further raises that belief. I could see him stay in OKC, get traded before the deadline to a contender or see him enter FA and be convinced by the Spurs or someone to join. All these scenarios offer more win opportunities than we do.

As an example for the Spurs to clear cap, they'd have Parker coming off the books and could unload LMA and have a spot open for PG. Alternatively they could get rid of mills and green.

All these things are more plausible currently than us signing two max FA's in a summer when we've struggled to do that for the whole decade.
