He was the Human Lead Killer in games 1 and 2.

What happened to his brother? Still playing?

Ball is on The Starters right now, they're having some fun, it's the most I've heard him talk and joke around so far. Good to see.

Gotta say.. I like the way he handles his business.. That's as important as anything..
I'm stoked on Ball & Ingram as a young Duo.

I think the main reason why a lot of us fans are divided on Ball is because we as a fan base are so used to a scoring type of player like Kobe, Shaq, even to an extent Pau. Also the NBA doesn't really have too many traditional point guards, nowadays most point guards are combo guards that are decent at pick and roll. I can see why Rob and Magic call Lonzo a transcendent talent is because we haven't seen a phenom where his strengths are vision and changing the pace with an uncanny way, he's changing the culture of a team that's so used to individual scoring to team scoring. So our fan base that's used to an individual scoring 25-30 points a game is considered better but in reality what about 15 points per game but with 10-12 assist plus infectious hockey assist that equates to 50-60 points per game. Now that's a transcendent talent. I'll take culture change over individual

    Well said.

And also, there's only one ball. So if you don't have a game changer like Kobe on your team, your best bet is unselfish team ball, rather than a bunch of mediocre scorers.

Theyll come around when George,Ingram and another all star are playing out of their minds...and then Lonzo is able to feed off of that himself.

yeah, again, the implicit assertion here is that those who don't think ball is transcendent can't fathom the importance of passing.

i don't think he's transcendent, and i know there's more than one way to dominate a game. i just don't think he really does that.

I think that's fair right now at this stage, but Ingram looked awful at this stage. Heck Russell looked even worse than this in his first Summer League.

There's a lot of time left and I think his influence has already been felt. I think he'll get better and better as he gets to know his teammates and I think he'll look better and better with better teammates as well. When he's driving and kicking to Ingram instead of Blue or dishing to Brook Lopez instead of Zubac.

I’ve just embraced the fact that pointing out anything Ball needs to improve will draw some kind of blowback.

I think fans like to root for the new Toy, but there's plenty of fans here that like Ball and don't duck his shortcomings.

This is going too far.. I think the bottom line is dont poop on the potential of a player like Ball as a Laker fan. I think you should ignore optimism that irritates you or "reaching" you feel that the poster is saying . I have no issue if you're skeptical about his future but how often are those poster(s) gonna say things along those lines? After every positive post? After every game? Like cmon.

I want to not respond and let the fire die down but some of yalls ego can't let this go and weve seen someone like @trodgers leave by Balls second summer league game. I mean ish is silly on a board youd think most are adults.

What exactly did I say that was too far? I said most fans like their new player which seems fairly innocuous. Then I said some fans of Ball's can still accept that he has flaws which also seems harmless.
