They weren't the only ones. Check out Fournier's contract in Orlando, Noah's in New York, and three or four bad deals on the Blazers right now that'll keep them mediocre for a long time.

But yes, the Lakers are certainly a stark reminder of what went wrong last year.

Milsap's experience required his contract to start around $28mm but he got 3 yrs

Why do you mention Conley? He was signed last year. Memphis is a team to trade with for future picks. Chandler is a disaster contract. Marc has 2-3 good years left.

Because mid tier players have no business making 30 million a year. That is why players like Dung and Mosgov got the offers they did.

And if you want to get deeper. It's why your cable or satellite bill has turned into monthly Ruth's Chris Steakhouse bill. Networks overpay for tv contracts, that money gets put back to the owners and players and now I have to watch the Paul Millsaps and Otto freakin Porters of the world get 30 mil per contracts. It's a joke. It also hurts the true stars in this game too. Lebron should be getting 60 mil per. Durant the same. Bradley Beal makes 22 million a year to play half the year. It's a joke.

Wow that's amazing it's like I don't know business. That's for teaching me all this ol wise one

For some reason I just thought owners picked numbers out of thin air and gave it to players.

    Color me shocked!

Yeah Milsaps contract is not bad at all and he's no scrub. He and Jokic will make an interesting front court.

I read this comment and all I get out of it is, "Blah blah blah Ruth's Chris Steakhouse blah blah blah." And I remember I have a gift card and I become so very happy.

Yeah smart GM's aren't doling out stupid contracts...just idiots like us got suckered into 2 really really bad deals for no reason.

I remember being IRATE finding out all 4 years were guaranteed on both guys deals. No player option, no team option...no nothing.

Can we stop bumping this thread until this guy is traded? :D Every time I see it at the top of the page my heart jumps for a split second, because it can't be being bumped to talk about his incredible workout regimen, or some video of him playing and looking better, I keep expecting a trade. That's the only news we'll hear on him unless he tears another body part.

I have hopes of Luol giving us 10-12 points off the bench. Coming off the bench should help, whats gonna be funny is if Luol ends up starting somehow its all said and done.

Look on the back of the gift card. Flemings is owned by a company that owns a few other restaurants. (Outback, Bonefish Grill, Carrabbas). I am fairly certain that you can use the gift card at any of their restaurants. I was once given a gift card to Olive Garden and used it at Seasons 52 instead.
