Good trade for Indiana. It's all up to PG at this point. Westbrook probably likes living there and I don't see him coming to L.A. OKC will have to make another move though. KD still a biaaa...
George by this exact time next year will be a Laker. He will be 28 and in his prime. Jordan and Shaq won their first titles at 28. I'm very excited for the future now.
Can anyone confirm if one of Magic, Rob or Kobe has close ties with any of the Thunder FO? Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
I need to see Paul George's press conference and see what he says. If he's excited and is asked about Lakers and blows us off, I'll be pissed
What do you expect him to do? Say, "Yeah I'm glad they traded me out of Indiana, but I'm still heading to LA this summer."
It's probably an ok sign that I don't feel like s*** right now. I don't really feel like anything, it's just like eh, ok. If he'd gone to the C Bags I'd feel like s***. On the other side, East gets even WEAKER, West gets stronger. LeBron has literally no competition, George was the closest to matching him.
I mean...obviously the best news would be him being traded here, but trade to OKC? I think that is pretty good for us. Teams like Boston and Houston were always a legit threat, they could offer him a market and a legit chance to win. OKC isn't really going to threaten anyone with the addition of George, and Westbrook isn't the easiest guy to play with, just ask Durant.
Haha this was the best thing that could happen for the Lakers. So OKC wins 50 games and gets bounced in round 2
I mean... I guess this is better for us. I agree that him resigning in OKC seems unlikely but I really want to hear the media spin trying to make this trade sound good.
People are going to really over-react either way. I expect PG to be excited I mean what's he suppose to say.
