I predict he will be flipped for other expiring contracts and additional assets like draft picks before the trade deadline It would be interesting tandem if we're able to keep him and Zubac though. That would be a heck of a platoon.
Well he'll have a chance to resign next year and hopefully PG and friend will come and he sees that he could be part of a winning team.
Brook Lopez will be an All Star and All NBA, and will be signed to an extension until he retires. You people suck
Brook is a good player that would make any team better. Glad to have him and hope there becomes a path for him to stay.
Brook is a 20 point a game big who can shoot 80 percent from the line AND just added the 3 point range to his game this last year. Lakers actually acquired a gem and we aren't even paying attention to it. If Brook doesnt get hurt, he would start all 82. Thats how good he is. If Ingram makes a giant jump and Ball's team game translates, this team will win games. I was just hoping we could get Paul George so they could guarantee a playoff spot and maybe even win a series. Looks like we will have to wait til next year though for that.
I wouldn't go as far as OX, but I do agree that the Lopez acquisition is undervalued. He will keep us in a lot of games this year.
Brook Lopez was the best player on the only team worse than us the last two years. He has only played on two teams with a winning record and made the playoffs three times in a much weaker eastern conference. Trying hard here guys but I can't get past those facts.
So he's not a franchise player and a #1 option. Think people already knew that. Lopez has still been an All Star in this league and has been the best player on a couple of playoff teams. He's still a very good player.
I would say his situation isn't too dissimilar to Love's. Lopez is not a 1st option on a good team, but he could make a good complement to other pieces.
