He doesn't need any help we're having fun. He's the one that keeps it up when you're out of the room. He needs an attitude adjustment.
Thank you. What I do like? We have some athletes with insane reach he could go against in practice. Throw Nwaba, Ingram, amd Dozier on hm in scrimmage; see how he holds up...
LTLaker said it best though as far as some people and LaVar overhyping Lonzo, obviously bugs him and its created a no fun scenario in the process... And brings that mindset on here challenging people's optimism/envision of him playing a part of changing the franchise around.
Magic has it just right. Ball just has to come in and play his game. Day one starter. Floor generals like this don't come around often. This year we will actually get to see Luke's offense. Magic is doing an amazing job. Nice to be able to start liking and pulling for him again. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind we got the most impactful player in the draft.
Lonzo is a transcendant talent. He's a once-in-a-decade floor general. I have very little doubt that he makes his teammates better. Whether that talent translates to success is a different matter. On paper, the system and personnel seems tailor-made for Lonzo. We won't know for certain until they actual play. With the way our team is currently constructed though, I like his chances of winning ROTY.
One of Markelle Fultz's first responses to what he likes about going to Philadelphia: "They have Chik-Fil-A here". Sounds like a winner to me.
JC is probably replaced before the season starts and that picture still has Fat Randle in it. But I dig the high quality.
I cant say for sure why, but not only do I think Clarkson will be on the team come the regular season, but I think he is going to really benefit from lonzo and maybe show the leap in growth this year that we were expecting the prior one
why is everyone sure clarkson's gone? sounds like his trade value is low, and his contract isn't unreasonable. i think he'll stay. i do think they want him on the second unit, though.
Media blackout of the name Lakers on his social media, Rob Pelinka specifically saying they drafted players that don't dribble too much, the Lakers just traded Russell in no small part because of his off-the-court activities and Jordan is a guy who parties as much as anyone else. I think the writing is on the wall that the Lakers would love to move on. We all thought Russell's trade value was low as well and he let us dump a bad contract while grabbing a solid player and a pick.
Agreed. Lonzo is the instant impact type player we haven't been able to draft. It took Russell and Ingram till the last part of their rookie seasons to put together a consistent stretch of high level play. Lonzo will have his growing pains, but I think he'll be the best rookie from the get go.
