Making light of the fact that the Lakers had to trade D'Angelo just to rid themselves of Mozgov's contract.

Yeah I know. Wasn't paying attention to the whoever was tweeting it.

I only look for three words in every tweet. George, to, Lakers in that exclusive order.

    I am groot.

It's an old site joke, in which Jeff Goldblum is the ultimate insider with the juiciest inside info because he's Jeff Goldblum.

I think Rockets have about $10mm in cap space this summer. Trading away Ariza, Beverly, and Lou would be about $20mm more so $30mm total

Here's a possible scenario for the Houston facilitated PG trade:

Lakers IN: PG and Jefferson (or Ellis)
    Nets IN: Russell and Mozgov
    Rockets IN: Lopez and Black
Pacers IN: Anderson, Lou Williams, Beverley, #27 and #28 picks

Houston sheds $10.5 million in salaries this summer since Black's contract is non-guaranteed, and they also gain Lopez's expiring deal for next summer.

Pacers get two draft picks and a bunch of starter quality players just like they asked for (although this might not be enough value for PG in their eyes).

Lakers get PG and take on a year of Jefferson who has a team option for 2018-19 (at worst they take on Ellis who has a player option instead).

Brooklyn gets a young point guard in Russell but have to take on Mozgov.

This scenario seems possible, but could such a complicated deal actually be completed before the draft? Would the Pacers accept this package for PG or would they hold out for more from another team? Who knows, perhaps nothing happens by the draft, but I hope something surprising like the above scenario happens by tomorrow.

    Nicely done.

Although that'd likely mean our starting Center next season would be Al Jefferson...

Not bad. I'm pretty positive Houston would not be able to dump all three in this deal. Indy probably asks for Anderson to be taken out and Clarkson added in. Anderson has three years and 60 million remaining. No way they take that on.

We'll give the Pacers their choice of Anderson or Deng. They should be thankful they get two options given how PG has practically both feet out the door.

Looks like the Pacers are content to drag this out now. They said our offer of Randle or Clarkson plus the low 1sts is not nearly enough. Okay. Shove it Indiana, I'm moving on.

If I'm the Lakers, I immediately start looking for ways to turn 27/28 into a higher pick or maybe even a pick next summer.

I was concerned from the beginning that the Pacers would let emotions rule them and that they would refuse to trade PG at all if they didn't get what they consider to be fair value for him.

Tomorrow we find out if the Pacers are willing to shoot themselves in the foot and miss out on their best opportunity to trade PG just because they don't want to do him or the Lakers any favors.

"They're optimistic other teams offers will be a lot more enticing before Thursday's draft."

What a bunch of fools. No they won't and you're losing George for nothing. Idiots.

Anderson spaces the floor for Turner, Moz does nothing lol...also if we "could" get Hou involved, I would try to get Bev, Lou and Ariza from them too, help them open crazy amt of cap space. All 3 expire next season to boot, Bev having a team option, he could make a solid vet mentor to Ball, that dude doesn't have an entitled attitude, he worked hard to get to where he's at now.

An ace and a couple of nothing could land you the moon in a very lucky handed poker and that's exactly what the Pacers is doing now...

    Landing the moon!

The Pacers are better off letting George walk than being saddled with Ryan Anderson at 20 million a season. For what? A couple late first rounders? Why not just take Kevin Love from the Cavs?

OMG!! I just got a chance to catch up and started reading a page ago, getting to this dude's new headline tweet about Houston possibly involved and come across this post from Elgin. I so f****** love this and these gifs and your headline. This is the post of this entire thread if it goes down. What did you search on?? This is so perfect, and did Magic and Rob somehow pull this off? (Still praying no Randle involved) only Clarkson or Nance if we must and I love Nance and like Clarkson. But John Ireland a couple hours ago was raving how he couldn't believe that Magic and Rob already had pulled off the impossible and gotten rid of Mozgov just like that! And how it made him feel they can do "anything".

Elgin this is a mic drop. Walk away if true.

I thought CP3 was a free agent this year. If so, Houston can shed the requisite salary in order to be a player for CP3.

    LOL.

    I used giphy.com

This is a rumor that was posted. If this is true it will completely lift my spirits and restore my faith in the organization. But it sounds like if there really is a three or four way deal, all we are giving up at this point is DLo and Mosgov.

Oh I know giphy but what was the search phrase that you found those in?
