If nothing else, I'm glad we'll be done hearing all the jokes about Russell and the video.

two late 1st round picks and the 2020 pick with JC and Brewer, that's my guess

That's the scary part for sure.. You'd hope that Rob has enough experience in the business to know if he's got interest from Indy first. If not, who's to say they wouldn't prefer just taking DLO, JC + 28.
Doesn't make sense that the Lakers wouldn't at least have an idea of what Indy was looking for.

That right there is the biggest long term upside of this move. It sends a HUGE message to all the other young guns including Lonzo. It changes the culture. The Nick Young / DLo culture is dead.

To us, it's an internet fiasco. to a team president, GM and coach, it's HUGE. The locker room and team morale are paramount. If we're honest, his days were numbered once Magic and Rob took over.

I'm not for Lebron coming here at all but uh...decline? His playoff stats in '17 playoffs compared to career playoff stats were +4.8 PTS +0.2 REB +0.9 AST, playing -0.8 min less than his career playoff avgs. All while shooting his highest FG% EVER .565 (playoffs or reg season). 33 mad dunks. He looked pretty damn good to me. Granted all that can begin to change and soon at his age.

Melo? Man you need to get your data straight. You seen Melo in a NBA finals? Ever? Lebron has been in 7 and just faced a team like no other. A team whose 6th man was the star player of the team he previously played for. Their starting unit includes the #2, #3, #13 and #19 players in the NBA (per ESPN).

Your last sentence however hits the mark. Don't want him, don't want his need to attention grab in his career's twilight.

I did sort of have that feeling. I think with Randle it's similar, but the kid has gone through the body shop (accidental pun) to get the way they wanted. It'd really hurt to see him now thrown into a trade and gone too.

Now watch Chad Ford get his own show and book deal. He's gonna play this to the tilt.

Randle is gonna have a big year (contract year). But what do we get for him at the end of the year? Nothing. We're not giving him a max and if he has a great year, someone will overpay. Best to cut bait now before we're overpaying or getting nothing.

Pretty much my thought from the moment Byron started taking shots at him all the way until now. Issues with him should've have been kept in house.

    Oh well. Bring on PG13...
