The young kids on the squad were nice, but if Magic pulls off George + 2 all stars by next year...it was all worth it (under the assumption we keep #2 and Ingram).
This would be extremely upsetting to me as Randle's biggest fan on this site... and losing BOTH Randle and Russell today for George is going to really f***ing sting.
I don't understand gutting the team to get PG now. What happened to, "he's coming next year without giving anything up!"
I hated seeing Eddie Jones get traded, but sometimes it's addition by subtraction. Right now, I don't see it with D'Angelo, but they know the locker room better than any of us. If we get PG13, it's worth it. I like Randle, but the flaws are striking. I'm not sold on Nance at the 4. Time will tell.
They haven't gutted the team. Still have their most promising young prospects. Ingram and in two days Lonzo.
It better be Clarkson and not Randle. The Pacers are trapped in a corner, so to give them Randle under these circumstances will greatly upset me especially after losing Russell for so little.
