I wonder if they'll try to unload Lopez for more value elsewhere? I mean if the end goal is to clear cap, then he's definetly not in our long term plans and we'd have to renounce his rights at seasons end.
I was thinking (hoping) that too, Sacramento could be somewhere we could dump Lopez to. They need talent on that entire roster and theoretically, Lopez is probably better than anyone at #10.....
Thx LT. I don't need to post cause y'all got LB on lock. There's solid discussion here already! Yeah, I couldn't stand Mitch and Jimmy. Even a loyal fan has their limits and I refused to take marching orders from individuals that clearly had no idea how to evolve in a new NBA and didn't have a clear cut vision. They merely rode off the fumes of West's team. But with Magic and Pelinka, I have a restored faith and I'm positive there's going to be more down the pike. We can't judge this move cause it certainly wasn't our end game. Still I'm impressed that we manage to get a 1st round pick out of an albatross of a contract. We know the asking price for PG is a starter and 2 1st round picks. We're locked and loaded and if we don't trade for PG, we certainly better trade for someone, cause the Bird Rights are key in bypassing the salary apron while evading the cap ceiling next summer when we try to pair up another star with our present target. That will be the end game. And it will be glorious...
Afraid to ask but might as well. Do you want to see LeBron here to join with PG or do you think there is some younger high impact player and a better fit for the long run possibly out there, and far less of a D-Bag?
