    If this was just a move to get the 27th to package to Indiana, why wouldn't it be a 3-way trade to begin with?

    That tells me Indiana has agreed to nothing so far.

    That's THE ONLY part of it that stings a bit. I was hoping we could get better value out of it, but I think we're overlooking that we now have that 27th pick, and the way the team has been working out those 99 players, it seems that will probably pay off with a really good player.

    Maybe; but I'm good. I'm not angry about it. If Luke, who I thought was the perfect coach for Lonzo, couldn't get to him, then his time was up, apparently.

    I know he was your guy and we fought over him. I never was a fan of him as a person, but I'm not happy he's gone in a salary dump. I was hoping for better value for sure. I'd be curious to know why you aren't more upset.

    If we don't move those pieces to move up in the draft or to get George, I'm going to be disappointed. I like a lot of players in this draft, but I'm not sure I like them enough to make up for D'Angelo's production and I'm not sure there's a SG in this draft that late who will make up for his shooting.

    From a technical standpoint now we're just as desperate for shooting as we were before we (presumably) picked up Lonzo.

    It sucks to stand-up for a kid you believe have the potential to be really good for 2 years and than to ship him out in a salary dump. Hoping for the next shoe to drop, but not expecting it.
