Would be sweet if C Bags traded away their draft picks for PG13. Then for him to sign with the Lakers ..... Magic would love that!
With reports that the Pacers have NOT contacted the Lakers yet makes their strategy obvious. They are shopping the entire league asking, "what's your best offer for PG?" From there they goto the Lakers and say "Team X is offering this.... you gotta beat their offer for us to give you PG" They are trying their best to create trade value for PG
can the cavs just **** off already? lebron really thinks he can get every star player to somehow come to cleveland. i'd honestly just laugh if PG went there. why not just get rid of every other team that's not the cavs and warriors at that point? it'll be a great day when lebron leaves cleveland for good and the cavs can go back to the joke of a franchise they were for decades before they got lucky in '03 also LOL at KD triggered on twitter. what happened to the days when athletes ignored their critics and just played the game? this new generation of players is so soft that it's sad
KD on twitter arguing with people who brought up a rumour that he has a fart fetish man, that guy has really sunk to new levels
Jeannie wants a Laker in the all star game while we're hosting. I think George is a Laker before the draft.
Lol. Guys, Indy isn't doing a deal with us for Deng or Mozgov unless we're attaching two future first round picks to them (28th pick this year, 2019 pick). More than likely, Lakers will do Clarkson (young prospect on an affordable deal), Brewer (expiring K), 28th pick and two 2nd round picks for Paul George. I really don't see Indy taking back Deng or Mozgov though...and the picks we would be giving them don't justify taking back $54M over 3 years. Here's the good news though..we should do everything in our power to send out the same amount of money in this deal so we can preserve a max slot for next summer while having PG13+young core already in tact. If push really comes to shove, I'm OK with giving Randle + Deng + 28th pick for PG13. Reason being is we'll still have Nance at the 4 spot, Ingram can slide over when we go small ball. I know it's not ideal but you have to factor in Randle's cap hold next summer and whether or not he's going to be worth extending...I don't think Lakers trade Randle but ultimately that's the deal I go with if you're trying to get this deal done for sure while preserving the young core, unloading Deng's deal, and keeping a max slot (or two if you stretch Moz) for next summer.
Sort of OT, but the thought of George, or any other good player for that matter, going to Cleveland is downright sickening. I know the pundits are mad at Golden State's mega-team for dethroning the Kang, but adding another All-Star to the Cavs only makes this super team problem worse. Why not just shut down the other 28 teams, have a draft, and let LeBron pick every other star in the league that's not in Oakland to fill out his roster? Seems to be what everyone wants. Let the current Warriors and LeBron, PG, Westbrook, Harden, Leonard, etc. duke it out for 82 games and have a best of 25 series for the championship. Ridiculous.
Amick= good Amico= garbage There's no chance the Pacers take back Mozgov or Deng, but to be fair I think most fans are saying that as a purposefully lowball offer. In the end it's likely Clarkson/picks or maybe even Brewer/Black/picks. Heck maybe even just picks by itself. The Lakers have all the leverage here.
Well we better parachute in because if PG ends up in CLE, he's not going to be a rental for them. I can't see it.
Any of these chump twitter losers can post anything that says Lakers and they know they will increase their numbers and audience. Woj is one of the few that I take any real news from. Everyone else is basically saying what we are saying here with zero evidence.
After an interview about PG's commitment to the Pacers, news just exploded about trades and all. CONSISTENT! Pacers mngt is running scared. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Fake news, waiting for the woj bomb. Pacers are waiting for the Lakers to say ok ok here's Jordan Clarkson and..... Dun dun dunnnn
Lol. That's cute. Reporters are trying to put pressure on Lakers to give up one of their core assets (ingram, randle, russell, #2 pick) for PG13 with the "Cavs talk is REAL!"...talk. Lakers need to play this right...do NOT panic into going for PG13 by giving up anything of real value. We have to trust that he's still going to come to LA, win or lose, if he ends up in Cleveland.
