Lol, I feel bad that so many of my posts are about Lebron. I need the Lakers to at least approach the playoffs next year.
Man, I love seeing Lebronze lose. And he does a lot of it in the Finals. Going to end up 3 out of 8 now. Not such a spectacular percentage. Compare to Kareem 6 out of 10, Magic 5 out of 9, Kobe 5 of 7, Michael Jordan 6 out of 6, Bill Russell 11 out of 12. Not looking to be in the discussion for greatest of all time in my book - not with that losing record.
He played great , Korver and others just missed makeable 3s down the stretch . He's not the flawless player ESPN/others medias say he is but he's nothing to be blamed for in these Finals . Resume wise , he lost a title he shouldn't have in 2011 in which he played VERY poorly ... and won a title he shouldn't have by finishing very strong last season . In 2013 , he was too much passive at the very end of Game 6 and blamed Bosh for it ... should have lost the Finals if it wasn't for the Spurs huge choke , had a great Game 7 though . The others Finals are "logical" in terms of results
Unfortunately for him , the NBA Finals are not as easy as the Least . Lebron strongest supporters would say the 3 for 8 doesn't matter though as he only lost to the inferior team once BUT beat a 73 wins team ... something Kobe and MJ never did
I think two things come into play for those pictures: 1) He obviously completely tires himself out. 2) The 4th quarters haven't been close the first two games have they? I feel like they were blown out already so he may not have played much in the 4th. And of course Durant's numbers are going to be excellent. Not only is he playing extremely well, but his team is a hell of a lot better. The Warriors are a cheat code and any great player playing on that team would put up godly numbers. I don't excuse it and I think last night was the quintessential LeBron game: get them close, but can't win the game. When the game is on the line, LeBron tightens up. Anyone who says "oh Durant made a shot and Korver just missed one" think about what you're saying. Korver missed one? Why is he taking that shot? LeBron does not have the killer instinct that the other greats have. I've said it before and I'll say it again: he's the greatest #2 option the world has ever seen. Get a killer to the finish line, then let the killer win the game.
James' offensive repertoire really isn't good enough to be the difference down the stretch. While his outside shot has improved, it is still not efficient or reliable to be counted on. James has no post up game. He is great in open space but a slasher he is not in breaking down half court defenses or have to get around an ace defender like Iguodala for example.
11 points in 3 Finals 4th quarters and this guy is regarded as the GOAT over MJ/Kobe? Are you f***** kidding me? Mental midgets don't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as those two. It really pisses me off that Kobe is disrespected like that.
LOLOL. Have seen it before but sill! LOVE that this one is hitting the big NBA funny tweet sites. You gotta let us know how many hits / re-tweets .. whatever.
The man is about to be 3-5 in the Finals with two of his three wins gifted to him by Ray Allen and Kyrie. He's waltzed through the Leastern Conference for years to even be in that position. He has always disappeared in the 4th quarter.
