Is Lebron the only "Top 5 Goat" player to say stuff like this? Reminds me of the stuff he said after 2011.

He's seen the future with GS's window and KD's prime next couple of years with the Lakers on the way back following ..... concurrent with his demise. That ring total capped at 3.

You know how these high school athletes play all the sports? Because they are athletically gifted?

    This is LeBron.

He is an insanely gifted, athletically, individual who happens to play basketball. Sure, he picked up some BBIQ on the way, but in the core, it is what he is.
He doesn't breathe basketball the same way Kobe did (well, almost (MJ?) no one did, ever) and, to me, this is why he or Shaq or other players of that ilk can never be considered one of the truly greatest.

Hmmmm, weird LeBron would say that. I guess the flame isn't burning as bright anymore because he's basically got all the monkeys off of his back. He's not ring-less anymore, he brought a title to Cleveland, etc. He also recently said he doesn't have to prove anything anymore. Would be interesting if he retired earlier than Duncan and Kobe did.

I don't like how lebron handles a lot of things but I completely agreed and enjoyed how he responded to this dumb question

    Some observations :

    - Cavs need to slow the tempo down , to do this you need 1) be willing to do so 2) to control the defensive rebound

    1) Lebron doesn't like posting up too much and posting KD up as the 1st defender at the start of the game is a different story than posting Barnes up

    2) Long rebounds can be tricky but Warriors are the hungrier team ...

Cavs defense has been poor all season long and is exposed on the biggest stage , players not named Shumpert are dying on/after screens.

Delly is a significant loss for the Cavs .

Last but not least what the hell is Love doing going for impossible offensive rebounds/randomly advancing towards the Warriors basket ? You need to get back on D after you took a perimeter shot , not keeping going forward on the floor ! It's a very bad habit ...

Warriors are the superior team , no question about it but it looks like the Cavs quickly have conceded/accepted its defeat ... and aren't both trying and doing its best

No idea why they don't see this. Game 2, LeBron was taking it to the basket for dunks. Bad idea. Playing right into the Warriors strengths. They wanna play that pace.

I think the Cavs role players will do better at home. Should be the best game of the series.

They said in their media day yesterday that they weren't going to slow their tempo. They said they're a fast team and that's how they win games.

So now they're going to lose more games.

I just don't see them winning much or at all if they aren't going to slow it down. They don't have the fire power to keep up with the Warriors at the pace of these games. If the end results are the Warriors scoring 120-140 points per game as they have I just don't see the Cavs keeping up with that.

I think the Cavs will probably see better shooting tonight at home. They should hope so at least. But if they don't slow it down it'll be over quick. Not that I'm complaining. I'm quite content not seeing Lebronze get any more hardware. I still like Irving a lot though.

I agree with yall. GS has 2 former MVP's that have put up 50/40/90 type numbers. I think only 7 players have done that and GS has two of them. Running with GS? Seems like a recipe for failure.

It's not a secret, but if I'm playing the Warriors, I need a post-up big man.

I've been hearing all this mess about this team being better than Magic's Lakers or the Shaq/Kobe threepeat era. Let them try to put Durant at Center with Shaq in there. I dare you. Sure you can have your shot on the other side, but eventually we're going to wear down whoever is inside. We're going to get to the free throw line. We're going to slow the game down to a crawl. Same with Kareem. Good luck guarding the Skyhook.

Yep. Sorry but our three peat team with Shaq and Kobe would DESTROY this GS team. I believe Showtime would as well. These guys are the best in the league at this moment and they will probably have themselves a little dynasty but they wouldn't be able to beat the best in history with legit post play. Slow it down, feed it inside - that's playoff basketball. What we're watching now is kind of like a slightly more defended All Star game. I've seen a LOT of guys just waltzing down the lane for uncontested jams. When was the last time you watched a Finals like this? I've never seen anything quite like it. These playoffs in general have been incredibly disappointing to me. The best series by far was the Spurs vs. Memphis in my opinion. Real basketball, great post play, contested series.

so according to reports, the cavs locker room smelled like marijuana after game 2

looks like it's finally setting in for lebron that he's never going to win another ring. warriors will win this year and probably next year before some other team rises up to challenge them.

meanwhile, lebron's only getting older and despite what lebron thinks, the cavs just can't trade for every star player to surround him with

    blaze up lebron
