The segment when Maggio shows tweets from fans on Spectrum Sportsnet makes me want to drive to the studio and smash the tv. There is nothing more of a waste of life than tweets, let alone from random knobs. Who gives a flying eff about some yahoos tweets? That includes known celebrities. It bottles my mind.

Yeah but his work ethic and game would drowned that out. Russ isn't working as hard as others and still is the loudest.

Workout reports and charts have consistently shown Russell at or near the top in workouts on the team. There are numerous accounts of midnight practice sessions with him.

That board shows who wins competitions in practice so they're all technically there already. I agree that his work ethic is not as bad as people sort of present it. However, people around the team all say that he does not take his craft as seriously as he needs to. Even Luke said Russell needs to come up with a professional routine. I think it's not a fair criticism that he's not a hard worker. I think it's a fair criticism though to say he doesn't work smart.

Reminds me of that one time Shaq was being interviewed about food and weight control and all that BS. And he said you can find the most ripped dude who eats salads all day but Im still gonna bust his a** if he tries to guard me. That's what I think about workout reports. Workout reports mean dong. Kobe had sick work ethic, but he also had super human skill that only a handful of basketball players have had. The work ethic allowed him to have a 20 year career, not make him a better player. He was already a better player schooling Michael Cooper and everyone at Pauley Pavilion at age 18.

What's the evidence that he's not working as hard as others?

Has anyone else seen those Russ commercials where it's real game footage of him like driving to the hoop and it kinda slows down for a second and they have him make a funny face and say something like "got em" and then score? I thought it was a really cool commercial and nice to see a Lakers player featured in spots like this. I thought they were Gatorade commercials, but I can't find them anywhere online.

Interesting comment from the Byronator on DLo coming to practice a few minutes before it started. Eventually got tired of it and required young guys to come in 30 min early for individual workouts before practice. Big reason why DLo was in the dog house

Sounds like your typical tennager getting by on talent. It's also what sets BI apart.

So his ex-coach just badmouthed him with the new boss.I guess that's why Magic keeps harping on the "BI is the franchise" narrative. damn it Boron, why do you have to be so cruel. :DNO2:
