Timothy Olyphant. Nah, come on he's not Skip repugnant, just fast with his gun and his mouth. :Crazyartest: And was in Deadwood.

NBA players are so soft today. Durant is trying to guard Aldridge in the post and Aldridge gives him a tiny elbow in the ribs as he's making his post move and Durant gets pissed and shoves him as he takes the layup. No call on either end, even though Durant committed an intentional foul. The Aldridge move wasn't a foul, that's post play in the NBA and Durant is a baby for acting that way. I frickin' hate this cocky, entitled GS team and Durant being a little baby and joining them after they spanked him, and I hate LeBron and the Cavs. The Finals is lose-lose for me now, I can't stand either one of these teams.

Now that I think about it, it reminds me of the back to back Finals between the Bulls and Jazz in '97 and '98, I wanted both of those teams to lose somehow.

Warriors playing iso ball. It's working now because the Spurs are undermanned but they can't do that against the LeBronettes.

It has really hit me that majority of the 90's NBA draft class are retired or retiring.

Trivia, no cheating. Who has the 2nd and 3rd longest playoffs streak, after the Spurs?

serious question - how much credit does mike brown deserve for leading the warriors to an undefeated playoffs so far?

and for those of you who do not think he deserves credit, does that mean that we should also devalue lukes contribution to the warriors last year?

are the warriors just that good that their coach has that little impact?

Most decent coaches can win titles with that squad. They have 4 allstars in their prime who are determined and motivated to beat the Cavs.

ok so it sounds like you are on the side of not giving the coaches that much credit. that stance is fine, but if you believe that then why does luke get so much praise for what he did with them?

    memphis? atlanta?

the coach that deserves credit is kerr. he built the foundation, imo. the fact that it runs largely without him is actually a testament to his ability to organize and manage. so, no, i wasn't super impressed with luke's record as gs's coach. and they'll have to win despite brown.

Kerr certainly gets credit for implementing the culture and system. After running it for 3 years now, it's their talent that's overwhelming their opponents and not so much the coaching. Mike Brown gets zero credit for beating inferior competition imo. Let's see if he can make the necessary adjustments against the Cavs.

As for Luke, I'm not sure he received much praise for that stint. I always thought it was his ability to relate to players that made him special.
