No but it makes things more entertaining to watch. Though it has gotten a little floppy the past couple mins.

Jennings and Rozier pick up 2 T's each for a lot of talking and slight pushing in the span of like 2 mins. Brad Stevens pick up a T in the middle of that. all with 8 mins left in the game.

Oubre is stupid , his team is already only 6 players deep and he's risking a suspension here .

He may cost his team the series .

i like the message from oubre, even if he gets suspended. you can't let the other team get the psychological edge of being the aggressor. reminds me of fisher laying out scola. thought that was a huge play in that series, as houston had identified themselves as the grittier, scrappier team, and fish undid all that work with one well-placed hit.

And it was a totally clean play too. Still can't believe they called a foul on that. ;)

Remember when Arenas, Jamison, Butler, and Stevenson were getting trounced by James and the Cavs? Same deal, except replace Delonte, Hughes, and Big Z, with Kyrie, Love and Tristan.

Ahahahahaha they just called an offensive foul on Haren for flopping on a 3 pointer. He flailed and hit Pau on the head slightly and Pau can sell a call too. Flopping piece of s***, got his 3rd foul of the half already with that. Can't just play the game, has to flop around like a fish out of water.

It's impossible for me to root against Ariza though, love that guy. 5 threes for him in the first half.

The refs are bailing the Rockets out right now. Terrible calls.

    K. Leonard is averaging over 27 ppg with 60% shooting he's underappreciated.

I really want The Rockets to lose. But I want Pop's condescending, I'll sit my healthy players giving the middle finger to everybody, a** to lose. All that rest really helped huh. Don't like seeing players get hurt, but anyone can get hurt at any time, rested or not.

i like popovich. but regarding his resting of players: they still win. they had the second-best record in the league with him resting guys, so it's hard to attack the strategy. also, injuries are certainly quasi-random, so the strategy is about probability not certainty.

contrast with dantoni (or thibs), who runs his guys into the ground and prays for luck in the injury department. houston's had it this year, but probability says gordon and anderson won't hold up for the life of those contracts, and houston will slip back to the bottom half of the west playoff picture. they've been incredibly lucky that harden hasn't been hurt while leading the league in minutes for several years. if his injury is one of cumulative wear (like many believe kobe's achilles was), will we be second-guessing dantoni's philosophy? if and when beverley (injury prone), gordon, anderson, and capela (too thin to be a full-time starting center, like amare was) get hurt, people will lament poor luck, but maybe it's just the residue of bad design.

tldr: a single good or bad outcome doesn't invalidate or validate a process.

What invalidates the process to me is that fans pay good money to see backups play. I hate resting for the sake of rest, especially when the trend isn't exclusive to older players now.
