Russell and Clarkson combined for 50 points last night. Keep this backcourt in the starting lineup, please.
No one cares they have his a** shipped out already for greener grass .... on other side of the ..... uhhh ..... Lakers hardwood floor.
Only 3/12 and 1/5 from deep today. He had 7 points 3 assists and 3 fouls. He finished the game though for some reason.
Anyone else feel like Jordan started having some more progress with his game and confidence again after Luke's experiment with putting him as the PG next to Russell? I really enjoy watching him play and his great attitude and would miss him if he were gone at some point. Great athlete and so quick and coordinated. Weaknesses in his defense notwithstanding.
Some progress, yes. Any better than he looked to close his rookie season? Hard to say. I'll crunch some numbers. His ceiling is very close.
Which is fine. Clarkson is an 18, 4, and 3 player per 36. Basically a prime Jason Terry/instant offense type player off the bench and that's okay. You can always use someone like that.
Can he approach Monta Ellis's game (if not numbers) on offense next couple of years if he keeps working? How was / is Monta's defense?
Terrible. Dude could fill it up though. I like the Terry comparison because he was a high volume/but effective scorer in this league for a long time and the 2nd best player on a championship team. A very impactful sixth man. I'd be thrilled if JC can develop into that and I believe he can.
I think JC is best suited as the 6th man, where he has the majority of ball handling duties with the bench. We really didn't get to see him do that this year with getting run time next to Lou. He would be a good piece to have for when this team is a playoff team but I wouldn't mind trading him either for the right package. He is young, has potential and a sizable contract.
I'm not gonna link it but man, his date to Six Flags, Bella Thorne, wearing a not-so-family-friendly outfit to a family theme park. JC taking advantage of his Laker status before he gets traded for PG?
What is it about the Disney "Star" experience thats makes them so opposite to the family demographic when they leave? Wanting to break the too pure typecast as they hit close to 21? Miley same thing pretty much.
