That's pretty dumb even coming from Green. Not sure what else Russell was supposed to do there.

I thought it was actually a pretty weak reaction also, but at least he did something and did not run and hide. No reason to escalate things just because.

This entire thing is just another example of the ridiculous levels of scrutiny on Russell. There was nothing out of the ordinary about that little scuffle or how he reacted. Guy gets tossed, coach praises his reaction, still gets criticized. It's just silly.

And if Green is the tough guy he wants everyone to believe he is he should have said his name instead of some subliminal shot.

Nance was the first to shove Monroe after he chucked Nick, and DLO shoved Monroe again towards the sideline to keep him away from Nick too. It wasn't as hard a shove as Nance did, but the intent was there. Both Nance and DLO were trying to keep Nick safe from a much bigger player. Ingram came after Monroe when it looked like Monroe was going after Nick again. Why Nance and Ingram weren't tossed and DLO was, I'll never know for sure. The refs looked at the same video footage I did. This isn't hard to see.

Weird thing to me is that this was another player on another team commenting on it. It wasn't another fan or something that brought it up because most of us said it was cool to see Russell get in there, but for another player to bring it up? Weird. That's next level scrutiny.

A guy who keeps kicking other guys in the junk probably shouldn't be too vocal about the bro code.

draymond doesn't understand "too vocal". people surrounding him and in the press have over-empowered him in terms of speaking his mind. occasionally, he has something interesting to say, but he's run with it to a ridiculous point. he's getting near "crazy ranting grandpa" territory, imo.

i think, statistically speaking, this has been a nightmare. i believe luke referred to this recently, actually.

    #tank

that said, the two seemed to have chemistry in the summer league, with clarkson finding lanes off the ball and russell finding him. but for whatever reason (probably defense? i'm too lazy to look), this has been laughable against nba competition.

Although it's one game, and he's a lil undersized for ideal height, he's making a good case to continue to start at 2.

If he's going to shoot like this then by all means leave him at the 2.
