Probably. Who knows? Maybe it came from Pelinka or Magic?

I don't really care at this point, thought. We're the 2nd worst team in the league; experiment away.

True. Could just be another tank move.

Make people uncomfortable. Make them earn it. Let any entitlement attitudes disappear. Hell, let all the starters go to the bench for all I care. When you are this bad, no one should feel safe. I don't watch some of our players and feel like they are hungry or scrapping and clawing their way to make their mark on the league. Shouldn't that be there somewhere?

After last night, a Tank move would be playing him 48 minutes.

Ah, I fear this one is from the same curse of "Psychology for poor" Byron took.

I hope, I f***ing hope, this came from Luke and not Magic.

DAR said he actually brought up the idea of role change with Clarkson as the primary ball handler. I don't think he thought of it sending him to the bench though.

    :Kobe Snickering:

I actually think it's kinda funny. It's not like he has treated the purple and gold armor with any level of awe and respect

That is an overly simplistic approach, not unlike Byron's.

When you have an employee who is talented, but tends to make mistakes, you don't go and put him on "improvement plan" (aka last step before firing him or her).

That is the worse kind of HR s*** that have never worked for anyone.

He's been playing well since the All Star Game. Last night stunk but the constant focus on him really confuses me (now going down that rabbit hole again tonight though).

Swapping Randle and Nance makes more sense to me.

Again if we really want to trade him I'd continue showcasing him as much as possible. Benching him just lowers his value and will result us giving up more if we try to get George this summer.

I'd agree if we hadn't already seen this movie and watched it bomb at the box office last season. We don't need a repeat of that. I can't help but feel this might be a Magic idea after an embarrassing loss last night and a bad game from Russ.

Not necessiarily; there might be a Front Office who loves Russell.

Apparently 95% of the fan base doesn't like him, and I'd assume nobody wouldn't blink an eye if he was moved. (in the right deal)

Did he mix up soccer with basketball at the end of the half?

    Weird move.

I don't know what can make Russel play with some focus. I do want to see the entitlement gone from our players.

This is how I see it. Can the Lakers survive without him? Does the offense look significantly worse? And it's not like the Lakers can really affect his value right now anyway. We're one of the worst teams in the league and Russell has shown the same sort of things all year. I don't think we can really kill his value unless he just doesn't play at all.

I'm very serious when I say no one is untouchable and I'm fine with trading him if it gets us George if Indy is willing. Hopefully you are right but I don't see the benefit to this one.

I think our young guys will be good but I'm not convinced any of them will be great.
