Good game. It seemed like he lost it a bit down the stretch and missed quite a few shots other than the big three.

...at least Russell did not shy away from it and deferred. Wanted it his hands to win or lose it considering the complaints about his attitude.

I thought he took good shots at least. He was in the paint on one, just outside on another, with space.

If anything I want him to be even more aggressive in those moments. This kid was supposed to be ice in his veins! Keep that feeling! When the game is close, do your thing, don't worry about everyone else. His most electric game was that Brooklyn game so long ago where he hit two deep threes to win the game. That's the sort of attitude he needs to have late because otherwise we're getting a heavily contested shot by Ingram, Clarkson, or Randle and Russell has the best "tough shot make-ability" out of those four.

I think what we're seeing from Russell is what we'd get from Fultz. They're pretty much the same type of player, great at a controlled dribble around the screens, though I'd give Fultz the nod at attacking the basket, Russell has the midrange pop down, but they both approach the offensive end with the same mentality. All around scoring ability with a touch of distribution.

Almost all the looks in the NBA are a**. The hair, the tattoos, the disheveled overall looks. They look like slobs. Even if you look at the high fades of the 90's, they were kept and trimmed. Kenny Walker had the best one ever. These kids, it looks like they took a dump in their hands and then wore it.

The stat keepers didn't even give him an assist on the Randle's 3 in the second half. They gave it to Nance. Haha if not the players missing gimmes to not give Russ assists leave it to the stat keeper to screw him over.

I love seeming him vocal out there and even shoving Randle after getting all those offensive rebound and finally putting the shot down in the 2nd half.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It was so great to see Russell taking charge like that.

He sure isn't. Ball and Booker backcourt would be legendary

    Booker's a tool.

I haven't seen a rookie get into so many scuffles as much as he has this year. I'm glad VC elbowed his @#$.

What I liked best about Russell last night was after the three he didn't run around making a fool of himself.. He made the shot and was happy but let it go pretty much. Shows some maturing unless I just didn't see the show...lol
