I think that's misreporting LT. Look at the video:

I don't see him bump his left knee against anything. I do see his knee move at an awkward angle towards the end of the scramble for the loose ball.

That was my and most of our impressions too, looking at it and the replays. Maybe it is mis-reporting but she had other quotes from Larry about the rehab so I figured maybe this came from there with my comment about why didn't they say so at the start. You are probably correct then.

I hope the rehab is going as smoothly as Larry does, but the mechanism of injury just doesn't seem right. Unless the injury happened on a different play or at a different point that's not in the video, I don't see a bump.

Yeah I didn't either. That's why I was worried it was a ligament tear when he went out. Kind of strange. Hopefully the rehab goes smoothly.

Quotes from Robinson and Metta after having their full year contracts guaranteed (following the Nance portion of article)

“It means a lot,” said Robinson, who has averaged 4.1 points on 51.6 percent shooting and 5.0 rebounds in 11.9 minutes off the bench. “I appreciate the way (Luke) coaches. I appreciate the way he is. For him to have confidence in me like that, it means everything so far.”

Though World Peace has posted career-lows in points (1.1), shooting percentage (22.7 percent) and playing time (5.2 minutes) through 14 appearances, the Lakers have liked how he has mentored his younger teammates with his work habits, practice intensity and willingness to provide advice without becoming overbearing. World Peace offered a new message after downplaying his chance to finish out his 17th NBA season.

“I just want to get to the playoffs,” World Peace said. “That’s all I’m focused on. I’m not focused on nothing else.”

Take your time and get healthy Nance, TRob has been a pretty good replacement right now.

That mentality is extraordinarily valuable to a young team. Both those mentalities really. For Robinson, a guy who has bounced around the league, to feel empowered by his coaches is an amazing thing. That (along with Tarik and Nick) is about as strong a testament to Luke's ability as anything could be.

As for Metta, the fact that a broken down husk of a star NBA player, a champion no less, is focused on nothing but the playoffs? That speaks volumes to the type of professional that Ron Artest has turned into. When Metta World Peace, a guy barely in the NBA after all these years, a guy with nothing really to prove or lose in the NBA, wants it that bad then what is the excuse for the young guys? That is why you keep him around the team.

Metta, Luol and Moz too. Zu will do well to (at least) reach his offensive skill sets and his toughness plus Moz is another player wanting to experience winning again, missing that Cleveland experience he had. Luol recognizing and pimping for Ingram the other day how good he is so young, while finally bringing his own game to a higher level. l'm glad we have all three with the young players we have on this roster.

While everybody else was lifeless in the 3rd quarter, he was taking charges and blocking shots.

Looked good. Hit a mid-range shot and had some really nice close outs to 3 point shooters (blocked one of them).

Seemed like the only one who cared yesterday to be honest with you.

I'd keep him and INgram. Everyone else can go at this point. I've seen enough of these guys to know that there is no heart on this team. It's not about the talent. Their talent is there and if they got it rolling, they will try.

i like nance but think he's the most likely attachment to get a deal for an established player done. one of clarkson/randle/russell/ingram + nance. the principal changes depending upon the return.

I heard that from a poster on LG, too. He said something like: Nance+JC for an impact 2-way wing; and then slide Deng over to the 4.

I agree. Out of all our young guys I really don't mind if we lose JC to a trade. Larry would be really tough to lose but we have to give up something that's hard for us to lose in order to get anything of value back so I understand it.

Yeah. I like Nance, too, but I'd be willing to listen to offers on him.

Nance plus JC doesn't get you that much. I'm not going to lie. I think Nance is a better player and more important to our team than JC. If I were a GM. JC would be the attachment to Nance, not the other way around.
