Ballmer should sign both to hefty multi-year extensions so they can retire as Clippers. They need the "star" power to stay relevant in the SoCal sports scene. Or there's always Seattle.
I think Embiid deserves to be in the all star game with what he's done with them this year. I read some crazy stat that the sixers are +68 when he's on the floor and -292 when he's not on the court. At this rate, they might win more games than us...
Giannis might become the first ever player to average 23/9/5 along with 2 steals and 2 blocks a game. He is also shooting 54% from the field... I think its becoming clear that the greek freak will be a top 5 NBA player for the next decade.
-There are a LOT of young talents in the league and as of now we don't have the best ones ... The positive aspect is most of them are in the Least/nobody wants to go to Sota/Denver ( same for Milwaukee) . -Knicks have been a total mess for a while Phily has probably the best chance to build a good team all things considered going forward ( well there is still the injuries concerns)
am i the only one who's still not sure philly's on the way to greatness? embiid still missed his first two years and has to play on a minutes restriction. okafor and noel have very little trade value and basically represent bust picks at this point. simmons has yet to play an nba game, so it's very hard to tell what he's going to be. i just don't know. by the time their next crop of draft picks comes into their own, they'll have had to pay or move parts of this group. just don't know if it's clear they're building a contender.
Absolutely nothing is clear/sure for any of these rebuilding teams , I'm just saying they might have the best opportunity because Phily isn't a s***hole but I agree with you this is still a longshot for the Sixers . The Bucks actually have the less "ifs" right now but nobody wants to go there so unless both Giannis and Jabari become top 10 NBA players , it's hopeless for them . I still think the cities the teams play in remains a huge weakness for some regardless of how good the franchise players are ( see Lebron 1st stint with Cavs , KD/Westbrook with OKC).
Philly will most likely have 2 more high draft picks this year. Saric looks like he is for real. Embiid is playing as well as any rookie has ever played and Simmons is at the very least a very good player. I absolutely think that Philly can become a force in the east if management isn't screwing this up.
they haven't really nailed the draft, and it remains to be seen where those picks will be. not sure i agree on saric, either. it took them winning 7 out of 8 to get out of the cellar. they're really not close at all.
Rumors of a Ricky Rubio/Reggie Jackson swap. I think this is a mistake for Minny. There won't be enough shots to go around between Reggie, KAT, Wiggins and Lavine. And didn't they Dunn? Giving up on him already?
wow lebron really...just imagine kobe saying these things https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/l...liers-roster-we-top-heavy-as-s-164538093.html
