Kind of funny how this is working out with the type of game Ingram seems like he's bringing so young compared to Ben Simmons. Prior to injury it was Simmons with the Magic like passing abilities at early age and facilitating but with no shot.

Ingram comes up and we're all expecting the sweet stroking shooter at his length who plays all around game. Now we find that he may ultimately play same role as Simmons. Not as athletic as Simmons nor as strong but I just know that the kid is going to turn into "money" with his shot too not far in the future ..... it's going to click because of the gym rat / Kobe preparation focus he has. And BI is no slouch athletically. Simmons will still have to learn how to shoot. Great matchup for years to come.

Me neither. I mean, we have several pretty obvious underachievers out there. The play has been inconsistent across the board. I'm hard pressed to think of any guys who bring it every night outside of Robinson and Nance Jr.

Even with the up and down play of Russell and Randle, we are a better team with even average night in and night out defense. Especially on the interior. We have been absolutely destroyed the last couple of games by Gasol and Jordan. I think one of them missed a shot in both of those games.

Russell's play has frustrated me but no more so than anyone else.

This. Russell should be put in a position to score, not in a position to make lousy decisions.

Better game tonight than last night. I liked the 7 rebounds. His shot was falling tonight too. Unfortunately, the TO's cropped up again, and Ish Smith was blowing by him too much for my liking, but overall he was playing with more determination than the last couple games against San Antonio and the Clippers.

At this point if we could flip DLo to get a shot at drafting Lonzo Ball or Markelle Fultz sign me up!

Everytime I see Ball, it's almost like I'm watching Jason Kidd all over again at Cal. SMH

I just "discovered" Lonzo yesterday. Holy guacamole, this was the year to tank! Looks like a generational talent to me.

The point is we can't always haunt the next best rookie and prolong the " lack of experience and growing pains" excuse. At some point you have to move forward, not backwards. I'm against trading assets for draft picks. But we might luck out in the lottery and be able to keep our (Philly) draft pick, if a top 3 selection is achieved. That would be a great bonus.

i'm not as overwhelmed by this draft as the pundits. not a surefire superstar in the bunch. doesn't mean there won't be one or more, but it's not tim duncan/lebron obvious. ball, in particular, is a tough one to call for me. kidd was already a man at cal; ball's got that kevin martin build.

i wouldn't trade russell for anyone i've seen. that's not to say fultz, smith, or ball couldn't possibly be better in the future, but russell has already proven he belongs in the league. i'll take that and move on.

I like Ball a lot but I have to agree that I'm not sure he's as sure fire yet as some think.

Honestly, if we're going to blow it up then I'm not for bringing in more projects. I say go for the gusto and try to bring in a bonafide superstar. Otherwise, we're better off just being patient and letting our young core (which is honestly better than I think people realize at times) continue to grow.

As hard as I've been on Russell, no way I'd trade him for a pick. At worst Russell is a 20 ppg scorer as a SG.

We already became the T-Wolves and some fans apparently want us to turn into the Sixers ...

They did just go 6-2 in the past eight games..... or something like that.

Are any of them sure fire besides the generational prospects that we have seen come through the draft? I don't think so. There's no clear science to this; nevertheless, keeping the pick is always the ideal because at the very least you have an asset you can use.

Embiid is very talented but health worries me long-term; same with Porzingis.
