It's just a tempo/rhythm thing. He has a very smooth release which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's kinda slow. In college, defenders weren't closing out on him so quickly so it wasn't much of an issue, but now he's forced to change the timing of his release, which isn't as easy as it sounds. His shooting mechanics are great so it won't require a full overhaul, but he needs repetition. Hopefully he can adjust during the season. If not, he'll probably be back to being a knock-down shooter by training camp next year.

Can't help but think maybe this guy will make Russell expandable.. is it too far fetched to think he can be Magic lite. Completely own PGs with his length, switch on a Jiffy. I'm intrigued.

4-4-3 with no TOs and 50% shooting in 28 minutes. Not sure how to feel. It's not bad, but it's still a bit passive.

We knew that when we drafted him though, he can be unselfish to a fault. It was supposed to be a nice fit next to Russell and Randle who are ball dominant. It still may be, time will tell. I for one do like that he's willing to make the extra pass, the right pass, and he's not shooting a percentage that warrants him being more selfish so..yeah.

Who needs another alpha on this team? Russell and Randle are struggling for control of the team as it is. Clarkson has more alpha in him than Ingram too.

Ingram was supposed to be here to smooth things over between all the parties and for the most part he's lived up to that billing. He just needs to knock down more shots to be the type of prospect any GM in the league would be salivating over.

I was really liking Brandon's aggressiveness today. It's obvious his offense needs much refinement, but I like the fact he was confident enough to take it to the clipper defense. Hopefully we'll see more of this as the season winds on.

That little "confrontation" with Austin really lit a fire under him. He was aggressive for a good bit right after that but didn't do much in the second half.

What happened? Did Rivers hit him hard and [IMG] snapped at him?

Ingram picked up a T, Rivers got a personal, and then Ingram went into attack mode a bit. Got a dunk, a layup, and several FTs. He had 8 points at the half.

What was the foul like? Did Rivers crack him across the head or face or kick him in the nuts? And what was Tiny's reaction toward Rivers? I missed this as started watching the game really late.

Rivers gave him like 3 fouls in one sequence, 1 was after the whistle already sounded.

I missed BI's reaction. Just saw the T. I mentioned it in GD. I recorded it. So I'll take a look.

Yeah, Brandon took exception to the foul after the whistle. I don't think Rivers was trying to be malicious, but the act was enough to tick Brandon off. I liked his response.
