Ingram needs to make it his goal this off season to eat. He needs to be at least 200 lbs.

Thought his offense wasn't going to be a concern, something that would have translated well from college to the NBA but I guess he just isn't ready strength wise.

Luke has him on a leash and he needs to develop separation from his man. Its been 6 weeks in the NBA. If he is doing this 6 weeks from now, I would then worry.

Another bad shooting night.. as long as he shows some a week before the seasons done I'll give him a pass.epecially since his D play has been solid.

Yes that crappy luck 2 years in a row keeping our pick against the odds and then only getting #2 each time.

I would trade both these #2 picks for the #1 (either KAT or Simmons) :p
I still think DAR will be a nice player...

I can't understand giving up on him, but I do think it's plain that it's not just reps and it's not just strength. Open looks are open looks. His head isn't right.

He has problems with confidence it seems. He hesitates on every shot and almost never makes a quick move to the basket. It's great that he wants to be a facilitator, but damn he doesn't seem to have any confidence that he can score on his opponent.

Never thought he'd struggle this bad with his offensive game. Hesitates on open looks but then takes a shot in which is body is completely out of control.

Big of you. Better I think to be thankful for how well the % gods did treat us. Yes agree about DAR, in spite of his big mouth, and so will Ingram.

Don't get me wrong. I was afraid to dream of keeping both these picks. We draw no.2 TWICE as a freakin bonus. Both drafts had one stud player each and few potentially very, very good ones. Stars is what makes you go all the way.

Look what he's got going on "up top" of his head every time he shoots .... maybe that crazy "hair" theory has something to it. :Magic Brows:

I wouldn't trade DAR and BI for either of those guys. Simmons hasn't played a game. KAT is very good, but I'm not sure why these guys can't be better as a duo.

the lakers drafted two guys that weren't physically mature enough to be impactful early on. age is just a number, but in the case of russell and ingram, it means something. simmons and towns (and embiid and okafor and many others). weren't 19 in a physical sense. they were men from day one.

russell still hasn't quite gotten there physically, and ingram has at least two more years, imo. it's not going to be fast; that's what happens when you draft based on potential.

however, i thought i'd be saying the same about porzingis right now, and i'm not. so there's that.
