    What exactly is your solution?

Starting Ingram? Brandon isn't ready to start, aside from the last game, over the season so far they have both been shooting poorly from all over the field. Let him come along slowly on the bench where he has so many positives; playing against weaker opponents, opportunity for more time on the ball, playing point-forward, defending weaker opposition to get his confidence up, getting out in transition with that unit and if he is playing well - finishing games. He is developing into an all around player in that situation and playing practically the same amount of minutes as Deng. Also we have the best bench in the league, why tinker with it?

Start Calderon and not play Deng? Calderon starting is fools gold unfortunately, he will knock down a few shots and do a few assists, but he will get burnt on the defensive end, we saw an old Tony Parker smoke him. It also starts throwing our height advantage out, DAR starts defending SG's instead of using his length against PG, Nick starts defending SF instead of SG's where he has a length advantage most nights. Deng plays good help defence and Calderon will weaken our help defence which we need to improve on.

I don't get the Deng hate, he doesn't really make too many mistakes on the floor, defends well in a team system... if he starts shooting better and finishing better on his cuts - both of which he has done his whole career - we should be satisfied. This team's problem isn't on the offensive side, it's mainly defensive. Things like rebounding, TOs, help defence, slow starts, fouling... all things that deng as a veteran does well and can teach the young guys to improve on.

6/10 against one of the top 3 teams in the league....he's ready as you gona get. Either way, is Ingram production as a starter going to be any worse than Dengs?

More to be gained by letting Deng round into the better level of performance as he's been doing looking at the stats ..... and keeping the best bench in the league intact with lots of minutes. Allows Ingram to better go off on lesser players as well.

    svtzr's been bringin' the thunda.

right on here. if the lakers were a terrible offensive unit, deng's struggles would be magnified. but they're not.

Honestly, our defense is starting to worry me. They seem to be getting worse. Our offense is getting better, but I don't know if we can get through Seattle when the playoffs comes.

I was never a Deng fan (at any point of his career) but i never thought he would be this BAD. Will there be an amnesty chance with the new CBA coming?

He really looks like an old man out there playing. Even the Kam brothers were talking about it pre-game. He doesn't move well at all. Thibs ran him into the ground or he's lying about his age and he's at least 6 years older than he says he is.

Honestly, it's probably both. I guess we can all pray that an amnesty provision gets put into the next CBA, although I hear they are leaning against it. I would think after the eruption of the cap there will be really, really bad contacts on every team.

Guys were getting paid even those who have not proven anything in league like Turner, etc. etc. we just signed the over the hill guy and now probably will make it hard to get our main target PG
