    Understand the frustrations with the inconsistency, but the kid is still averaging 16 and 5. Not having a bad season by any means. Not great or spectacular, but there's definite improvement. He's not healthy right now clearly so he needs to get healthy. He's only playing 27 minutes a game. Obviously for that to go up he has to earn it with more consistent play.

    Not too worried about it though because it's so early in the season and his career. Even if he's still kind of up and down all season that doesn't make me change my view on him. Takes some players year three to hit their stride. If he hasn't by next year then he likely is what he is. I don't see it happening. He's too talented and skilled to just be a good player IMO. At the very least I see an All Star guard in this league. He's still figuring some things on the court because let's face it last year there wasn't much of an opportunity because it was just give it Kobe or get benched if you don't comply.

    what is the joke behind this? I see lot of people use this comment when they play philly or when dlo has bad games....someone really suggested we trade russell for mcdonnell last yr?
