PM realdeal. I remember a year and a half ...two years ago he was researching for contingency purposes where one could find a whole family of "crows". Scott did nothing, zip, nada for his development last year. In fact Julius might have had a shot at figuring it out on his own and was just getting on that first roll of his in late Nov early Dec, had not Boron the a-Hole benched him too, so it wouldn't look like he was only picking on Russell.

I was very optimistic and admittedly probably a little insane.

I'll admit guilt. Julius looked lost, one-handed, couldn't shoot, and operated in one gear. Obviously that's generalizing, even under Byron last year he had some nice moments on the break, showed his passing skills showed some right-handed touch etc.

But MAN this guy we're seeing? Seriously, he's like a mini-Lebron the way he runs the break and kicks out. Lacks a jumper much like baby LeBron did too. I now seriously admit that I did not expect Julius to have such a complete, polished game this soon. I also underestimated his athleticism. I now think his ceiling is all-star caliber player and if his jumper starts hitting, league f*****

i'm not going to self-flagellate at this point--because the flaws that concerned me are still hanging around--but i will say that he's been the most pleasant surprise of the early season (happily, one full of pleasant surprises!). not sure what happened between preseason and when the games started counting, but he improved incrementally in almost all ways, it seems.

Julius has regressed as a rebounder it seems this season.

Thats something he needs to fix as soon as possible. Chicago was eating the glass against our front court.

I agree with KB24. Julius' rebounding was one of the things I liked most about him last year. I've been noticing the drop off and I'd love to see him get at it more. He's a natural in that department so it's surprising to see it fall off. Some of it might be spacing. Also one thing Deng does fairly well this year is boarding so he's getting some of those. Still, Julius should hit it harder.

Me neither. I think I said Larry Nance was the better basketball player. Randle is figuring it out which is great.

He should sit tomorrow ... no need to force the issue in a blowout loss

That's normal. He has way more things to do.

    I'll take 13/8/4 over 10/10/2 every time.
