He missed a lot of easy looks late in the 4th quarter that he knew he should have hit because he was pounding the ball on the floor when a timeout was called. I wish I could have been on the sidelines letting him know it was all good. We know that he cares and he does a lot of other things (help defense block on Howard, timely defensive rebounds) that don't necessarily show up on the box score.

    Keep it up Deng!

He looked a bit fatigued on this back to back.

It's best that he play spot minutes, because he's actually still quite effective in spurts. He's always at the right place and the right time, making plays, but just a step slow than he probably is used to.

Ingram and Deng should split minutes this season. I would be okay with that, unless Ingram breaks out and earns more.

He's trying to(I'm sure with the support of the staff) pace himself. Seen him one particular play get on his man like a 27 year old,"we need this stop" Deng. As the season goes the playing field will even out a bit and he'll continue to pick up steam. He gave us just enough when we needed him yesterday. Didn't see the end of the fourth cause I fell asleep but Lou did his thang so eff it.

Next game, wanna see him on Iggy. Just hoping he contains KD enough.

He's doing better by the game but not what I expected when we got him. He has been attacking the offensive board well and making some nice passes. Just don't like him bringing the ball up the court like he did yesterday, doesn't have the handles for when they pressure him.

I think he's crafty enough that it's the reason why he doesn't really jump out of the screen. I don't wanna try and sound defensive but I been keying in on him at times and with the exception of a couple games ago giving up buckets behind his back on in bound passes...haven't really seen him be a liability.

Sometimes it takes veterans a lil to get going. He'll come around soon, who knows what Luke is asking of him behind the scenes. Probably want the young guys to get going first so now he needs to catch his groove.

He's not putting up huge numbers, but I'm glad we have him, he hit some big threes tonight and he's another stabilizing vet presence out there.

Though I've been a hair underwhelmed so far, I think he's a good place holder until Brandon develops a bit more into a starter. And then it'll be nice to have Deng coming off the bench to back him up. I think he was a solid signing for those reasons.

Deng has been horrible. No other way around it. He's not hitting shots from the perimeter and he's not doing a good job defensively. Made Harrison Barnes look like prime Kobe tonight.

Deng highlights stands out in prior gms cause he does so little for us out there that any time he does something positive it stands out more

i was a fan (not huge, but a fan), but now i'm QUITE concerned. this is what i expected him to look like two years from now.

and i'll repeat my self-congratulation: i wanted barnes at the max this summer, and i was generally laughed at. so, deng and yi (or calderon)...or barnes?

As good as Barnes is and has been playing how do him and Ingram play together? You don't want the kid sitting on the bench forever. Needs to play at some point.

Yeah I'm not happy. He looks like Luke Walton but we're paying him like Pau.

I think there's room for improvement, but not a lot... We better hope Ingram's progress continues quickly.

acquire talent first. sort out the rest later. it's not like philly, where you have 4 guys the same age at the same position. the mavs started barnes at the 4 last night; he already played lots of backup minutes there. this is the kind of problem i want.

anyway, ship sailed. gotta hope we didn't get nash-ed again. that's a lot of cash for the next four years tied up...

He's not the max, and he's on the homestretch of his career.

Barnes is still very young, and has not seen his potential yet due to a limited role. He will prove to be a max player, like you might hope your #2 pick could develop into.

Ingram could play the sg position in this offense. at least barnes wouldve grown with the team, deng is just wasting space and $. i also think barnes will earn that $ eventually but deng will NEVER play at a lvl where you can say he has earned every penny with us imo

Let someone wait till Christmas before we write him off. Are we plus or minus when he's on the floor?
