Monster game from Julius. His confidence is up and if he's focused, watch out. Huge difference from what we saw in the preseason that warranted all the criticism.

He played a big role in tempering that late Golden State run. I think his best pairing is with Nance out there. Gives him room in the paint to operate and can help defensively.

A point of complaint is when he gets to excited and commits a turnover from bad passes.

Randle and Nance are a surprisingly good pairing if we're going small ball.

They really do complement eachother's deficiencies pretty perfectly.

They're still daring him to shoot and I'd like to see him take that challenge more often.

Great game though and he outplayed his counterpart Green on both ends. I've said from the beginning that he's more talented than Draymond by a good margin, but it's about putting that talent to use. He's done it so far this year and I hope he continues.

Green has quicker hands and better instincts on defense but nothing Randle can't learn to a certain degree. Green has a better perimeter game...Randle on the post. Randle has the advantage on the boards...equal speed on the floor. Randle has better control of his emotions. Green is a walking tech every game. Charity stripe...edge to Green. Same on passing.

I think the defensive instincts is the only thing that Green has that Randle is unlikely to learn how to top. The shooting I think can come. We heard nothing but good things about Julius all summer in terms of his jumper. Julius just needs to have the confidence to hit the shot. He's shown it takes him a while to implement things on the floor.

I think Julius is a better passer and that'll flesh out as the season goes on and as this offense is established. Draymond is a harder worker on the glass, but Julius is a more natural rebounder. Draymond has maximized his fairly limited talent in this offense while Julius is still working his way up there. I don't know if Julius ever hits his great ceiling, but games like this make me hopeful.

Randle's passing needs a bit of work not as much as some made it out to be. It's the court awareness that's been harped on in these parts. A couple last night made me cringe, jumping to make one without a decision that Thompson nearly picked off and throwing one off Deng. His J isn't clunky but needs to smooth it somewhat. Both though have similarities when taking the ball off the glass and down the floor with it. Randle has shown really good touch on those tear drop shots close to the rim and using the backboard up close for banks.

I would not trade Randle or as part of a package unless it is something ridiculous that we cannot or should not turn down. He also brings a level of maturity and professionalism at his young age. Collins was effusive in praising his game last night.

So you watched the ESPN feed last night whole game? How did the rest of the east coast, anti Lakers biased crowd sound? Was that an eye opener for them?

I have DISH which does not carry TWC unfortunately so I have to find other feeds to catch up. Reaction has been mostly positive from the network. Billups, Rose and whoever those were on the post game segment were par for the course given the win. I think it was probably a bit of a surprise to most of them even if they come across somewhat feigned. Out of all involved in the broadcast, I do trust Collins' assessments more.

Dude continues to be automatic on that 12 ft turnaround fader in the lane. Needs to shoot it more.

Dudes jumper is a frozen rope. Fix it.

What the hell is it with Dish?? Join the 21st century already and carry the Lakers. I have DirectTV but if I had Dish I would be going berserk on them.

I wanna see Randle dominate this game. Their PFs are their weak spot with Dudley starting. Second unit should be successful as well, especially defensively around the paint.
