Did not play well to his standards tonight but did enough to impact the game defensively and not forcing the issue. I was disappointed Ingram missed that wide-open three. Just long. He was even on Durant for stretches in the game.

Took it into the paint aggressively at least 3 times. didn't hit open 3s, but played a good game.

My only real complaint is he passed up a couple shots he should've taken and once he passed to Black at the top of the key with clock running out. confidence and situational awareness will come.

I liked Brandon's overall game against GS.. Nothing spectacular, but poised & decent all around #s.

Statistically, this was his best game. Highs in minutes, points, rebounds, assists, and steals.

Yes, he did a little bit of everything. Luke will continue to trust him, and BI will continue to gain more confidence.

A 19 year old given this much trust and responsibility yet he is still poise and confident out there.

I think it was his best game of the regular season, did a little of everything. He's making the right plays but sometimes I wish he was a little selfish and take the jumper when he has it.

Gonna be a force to be reckon with when his body fills out more and his jumper starts falling.

The fact he won't take open jumpers right now and instead is trying to get his teammates involved is why so many of us compare him to Tayshaun instead of Durant. Durant is passing on a half-way open shot let alone a wide open one.

It is an apt comparison though Ingram can create his own shot when he wants to or is forced to. Ingram has the potential to be a better scorer plus he can pass. Prince was an elite defender which Ingram still has ways to go but doesn't necessarily mean he can't be within reason.

I agree that Ingram is more talented than Prince. I'd even say he's a lot more talented, but the mentality is so different compared to Durant that the comparison is just unfair. That's why I lean more towards Prince.

He's playing like 26 minutes a game already isn't he? Luke's not going to bump him up right now to over 30 at his age and weight. No one is averaging over 30 and that's good for staying fresh and aggressive with our depth.

his steal and bucket at the end of the third the other night were both big plays that really helped stave off the gs run and break their spirit a bit. i like how he's being used so far, both in terms of minutes and the positions in which he's placed when he's out there. you shouldn't overexpose rookies, particularly 19 year old rookies.

I was watching some replays of the past games and boy, he is very disruptive on the defensive end. He makes correct defensive reads which is just plain impressive for a 19 y/o rookie in the first 6 games. Some players (some all-stars) will play their whole careers without developing defensive vision. He buys a lot of time for himself on the court bc of his defense, so I think the offense will come. I hope the aggression will come on that end soon.

And doing the small things and playing the game right can still lead you to success as the rest start coming along. Perfect dosage of minutes to have him comfortably come along and if he starts forcing you to play him more then it's a great thing. At the all star break we'll see how much progress he's made.
