Ingram started out really slow. Otherwise his preseason numbers would have been higher.

That 1.5 blocks is really impressive. I know it's just pre-season, but in comparison, only one SF had more last season (Jerami Grant at 1.65 per game).

Yes, and he just needs the ball in his hands more. His best game of the pre-season was when he had the ball in his hands with that 2nd unit. His best game of the Summer League was when Russell sat out that last game and Ingram excelled.

I'm not saying Russ and Ingram or other ball dominant players the Lakers have can't play with each other, but I am saying that until Ingram gets more comfortable he should have the ball more in places on the floor that he can be successful. High Pick and Roll.

I'm ecstatic that he got that much playing time. I hope it continues.

Liked the possession on which he defended Harden in the left corner . The beard had no answer against Ingram length .

The huge positive for a rookie is he basically NBA ready when it comes to D so he can stay on the floor without hurting his team .

He'll become a monster on this end .

I love the poise he has at point. Even though the offense wasn't going through him, having him initiate the offense opened up the floor for Clarkson to score in the 4th. The kid is a smooth operator.

He looked really solid in his first NBA game, and it's only going to get better. We have a lot of young talent right now, and Luke trusts Tiny Dog, which is another reason for me to trust him. Once he gets stronger and more confident, sky's the limit. I especially like his defensive intensity.

The way Deng moved last night (still hurting?), looks like Ingram will garner more time on the floor if it stays the course like it did last night. he ran the floor well, catching a nice lob from Williams and what was good to see is his outside shot falling. Defensively, he did just fine.
