I was actually thinking the same thing yesterday morning - he should really watch footage of Nash and start trying to model his game on Steve's more than on Curry's. He can score, but he needs more work on the playmaking side.

I love Nash's game, but I also do like Russell in the off-ball actions that we run. I do think he's progressing just fine; we just have to be patient.

For a guy who isn't devastatingly fast, I don't mind that he's looking for his shot. Once defenses lock on to him throughout the season, he'll start to find some guys for assists. The team needs a reliable scoring option anyway. Let it fly D'Lo

Sure, and to clarify I don't mean I want Russell to be more like Nash than Curry for his career. I think he's such an obviously talented shooter and scoring guard, I just want him for now to lean more on the playmaking side and how to do it since he's less natural at it. Nash is a great model in that department.

Russell gave a great performance. Too bad it didn't help his team win.

No. Hate that s***. Kobe never flopped or faked getting hit.

Kid is shooting the lights out however. He must be well over 50% overall and 40% on his 3s.

I cannot overstate how much I have this crap. If he continues to flop like that I swear I won't be able to root for him

It really does. This efficiency is awesome for sure, but please leave the CP3 act at home.

Russell just rubs every Laker fan the wrong way at least once in his short career.:DNO2:

i think kirilenko flopped like that a while back. it's so exaggerated that one wonders whether there's something physically shocking about near misses to the face. i actually know someone who might be able to answer that question...

anyway, not sure how this is dominating conversation after a hyper efficient 31/11 game from our 20 year old pg. i'm mad this one wasn't televised--though it seems the rest of the team was pretty bad.

You didn't miss anything. LOL. We played well in the 3rd quarter, but other than that, we struggled defensively. Offensively, this was the worst I seen us as well. Just a rough night.
