Yeah when I saw Fox sprint off of the floor toward the tunnel you just knew something was going to happen. And that was just a practice game. That was one hell of a Sacramento team that gave us all we wanted and then some even with Shaq and Kobe, but they could never beat us. Might have had some ref help that one playoff game by the referees though as reported by the "dirty ref."

People forget that in game 5 Chris Webber ran out of bounds with the ball and they gave the ball back to Sac. That was a deciding play in the game.

I think that was the game where Webber also fumbled the ball out of bounds and the refs gave it to Sac anyway. It led to the Bibby score that won them the game. Well, technically it did as Bobby Jackson mugged 8 on his potential game tying [winning?] shot afterwards.

On topic: go to see that Black is setting himself up to a stable endeavor after his pro basketball career is over.

At the end of the day they had a ton of Free throws they missed throughout the series in big moments/ during 4th quarters. Gotta knock those down.

Yeah I get the sentiment. :Headbang: But the hell they weren't .....those were amazingly competitive and scary series for us always. Fish getting torched by Bibby and their guards didn't help. The beginnings of the legend of Marcus Banks. Peeps railing about Phil not caring about athletes and defense on the perimeter as much as players drafted for his "precious".

Wasn't Sky a SF area guy? I bet he is loving life since GS turned into a juggler's knot.

The other team has to win in order for it to be a rivalry. ---Shaq

They did, like 3 games usually in a 7 game series. Not buying You saw no threat there. Especially when they tried to kill Kobe with the poisoned hamburger in the hotel up there. They meant business. :Noddingyes:

***Trying not to give them credit***

But we know they were a great team. We had some great talented teams we played against during the 3-Peat. Better than any LeBronze ever faced.

Bibby played 7 playoff games vs LA. LA went 4-3.

Sacramento played 16 playoff games vs LA from 99/00 to 06/07. Lakers were 11-5.

Yes. I like it. He looks really determined. LOLOL. But what does it say? A guy with the nickname of "Boom Boom" is working on sinking Js? Show us the footage Tarik. I'll shoot it for you if you pay me fair. Your last actual "action clip" shooting Js was the B&W vertical video of you launching just one long "bomb" from 6" behind the free throw line.

Definitely not impressed. I do like that determined look on your face though.

I think Black could be pretty good for us, I trust in Luke to let the process play itself out though.

This thread definitely deserves a bump. Black played great. Tons of energy. Great hustle. He got us back into this game. It was nice to see him get some minutes.
