Kareem would swing that elbow out so that someones throat might bump up against it. That was quite effective.
Sigh... Collective "Boing!" So crass...yet damn funny at the same time. Mike Dunleavy (of all people) once said that if "post players want to make a lot of money, learn the hook shot!" Zu's lady friend would be so happy.
In a few seasons, it would be so eerie seeing Russell in our half court sets calling the "fist" play then dumping it into Zu for that shot. Yes, the cart before the horse but it is an entertaining thought. Zu could even practice shooting it left handed. The only one I ever saw shoot it that way was Lanier who was a natural south paw.
