I kind of doubt that it was Kobe. The way Larry described the person, it sounded like he just didn't like him, and Larry was very complementary of Kobe when he was talking about the last game and the tour.

Also just in general, Kobe seemed to have mellowed with old age and wasn't as hard on his teammates in the last parts of his career.

I'd say it was Nick too because well, its him. Bass I've always thought as a solid vet guy and very little spoken as well.

You're probably right...though it could be tough playing with 24. It can't be Nick Young who seemed out of it most of the time but then again he could have been a distraction and a royal pain to deal with. Odd as he was always easy going and acted as a positive dating back to two seasons before.

I haven't heard much about Williams' rapport with the whole crew. Bass always was lauded for being a steady locker room presence.

Maybe when he realized he was gone or disrespected with the latter part of the season's lack of playing time ...... Bass fed up with having to play the 5 because Byron was seeing the promise in Nance at the 4 and giving him Bass's minutes there? Not what he bargained for or signed up for. I myself never got the warm fuzzies from Bass from day one at the Presser through the few times I saw him interviewed.

My bet would be Nick though, once the s*** hit the fan with the DAR phone recorded audio (video too?) hitting the internet. Boom goes the dynamite. His doing but to that point it was peachy for Nick. He'd have been found out sooner or later, but that was a flash point and the whole man code snitch thing might have turned him into a divisive locker room presence at that point?

Have not listened to the interview so maybe if I heard it I would think differently. I mean that is one long a** podcast. And what's he done for us lately since spraining his wrist???

Well there goes Brandon as the mystery d*** in Larry's eyes. I'm thinking Nick.

Only guys I can think of that make sense from the outside are Lou and Nick then. Lou seems a little like a lone wolf to me so I wouldn't be shocked if it was him. Nick is the easy candidate. Hibbert and Kobe would also make sense from a basketball perspective, but they seem like they'd be good teammates otherwise.

I like Lou as a 6th man. But he is definitely goofier than the average person.

Bass also looked weited to me. He might have been a nice guy but the way he spoke was always goofy to me.

Didnt listen to the interview and given how everyone seems to have hated being coached by byron, makes me wonder if mgmt. even did a thorough enough job.screening byron? I know before scott was hired there was a long process and he went back for miltiple interviews. I blame our failures more so on whoever choses the coaches for the last 3 hires rather than the caach themselves. Brown was just fired by clev and everyone felt he was just a puppet coach succeeding on Brons talent, mda style didnt fit our personnel one bit at the time (ironic since our current roster would be perfect for mda style O) and Byron fired by net's with b2b finals appearance with kidd apparently hating bryon even during their success, failed epically in clev and also got fired by nop.

I think Nance will never have great stats in the NBA. But he is a guy that has momentum changing skills...like an insane block or dunk etc. He is all over the floor and can really be the x factor in a tight game.

I hope he will be a Laker for a long time.

Well, if he had this line for his career, I'd be more than satisfied:

    Code:
    11.8ppg 5.5rpg 2.7apg 1.4spg 1.8bpg
Trivia - who's line is it anyway?

I thought maybe gump, Bowen, or ariza. But no. Trevor's stats are really close. Give us a hint. Is he a 3&d type player?
