Abeer I love your analysis on the site, respect the heck out of you. But I think y'all underestimating our boy. People probably used to the say the same about Draymond and now he can legitimately guard 1-5 with his length, smarts and athleticism. Been almost 2.5 years since his ACL tear so he's now fully recovered/confident in it.

I think he'd be able to hang with Kawhi,Iguodala, ilyasova(top 3/4 teams in West IMO,clippers SF is MIA lol).

Nance NOT fully explosive at combine, had a faster lane agility @10.89 than Klay Thompson, 10.99, by a good margin better than Leonard as well who had a time of 11.45.

Think that proves he is capable, just depends how bad he wants it/wants to improve. I think we're all confident he's gonna give it everything.

I also think Nance can guard multiple positions on spurts but I think he is exclusively a 4 as a fulltime player.

If he gets the 20-30+ footers down(40+ %), he's a legit starter in this league IMO.

How is his wrist doing .... what % back to normal, roughly? Anyone read, or did he say in this interview? Won't be able to listen to it for awhile.

Said his wrist is doing fine and he will be able to be back in the gym in a week or week and a half.

Great interview. I think this is the first time I've heard one of the youngsters being so real and open about what it was like to play for Scott last year. But I'm trying to figure out who Larry kept referring to as not getting along last year because he made it sound that thar other player/s made things just as miserable as playing for Byron, and it's someone that isn't back this year apparently.

I was thinking the same thing. The whole roster was: Kobe, Sacre, Kelly, Metta, Lou, Nick, Tarik, Brown, Huertas, Bass, Hibbert, Randle, Russell, Clarkson, and Nance himself.

Larry has indicated he's close with all the younger players, spoke highly of Metta, and seemed kind of happy to have Tarik and Huertas back. I can't imagine anyone not getting along with Hibbert even if he sucked.

The only guys I can think of are Lou, Nick, Kobe, and Bass? Kobe more as a frustration than not getting along with him, but his on the court limitations were probably difficult to deal with. So Lou, Nick, and Bass? Mostly Nick?

My guess is Bass purely because I never liked him

I'm just going to blame Byron.

I know, I know. Low hanging fruit...

He blamed him too. Very clearly and obviously he said working for Byron was not a good experience. As nice as Larry is, he didn't really try to hide the fact that playing for Byron sucked.

Really? I never had a problem with him. I'd assume Nick is the obvious one. I wouldn't be surprised about Bass and Lou though if they rubbed their teammates the wrong way.

I've always assumed Bass was a locker room glue guy veteran presence. I have nothing to base that on, and it may be why he's bouncing around the league for relatively smallish contracts.

That's a long damn podcast but I may have to grit up and listen to it all just to hear the obvious references to how crappy it was to play for Boron the A-hole.

24... High expectations, taskmaster, hard driver... The caveat is that he wanted the young players that nothing is easy, there are no nights or plays off if they want to maximize their potential even in practice. I would have lived with that than someone going easy on me.

Scott is just...probably had the same intention but out of touch with dealing with today's players.
