It will be par for the course with what he have right now...there's certainly potential though coupled with some unknowns. To expect differently would be a disservice to the squad not to mention unrealistic.

I hope our prized second rounder is quietly seething that he isn't getting any attention this summer, and is channeling that toward his training regimen.

Jordan is going to blow up this year. They all will with relation to their young ages. Luke and staff are going to be like Miracle-Grow with their coaching performance compared to Byron Scott having been Round Up the last 2 years.

Clarkson has that quiet intensity much like Randle. I'm looking forward to whether he has improved defensively. Scott touched on his deficiency in that department and true to form Clarkson from accounts set out to work on it.

I think so too, can't wait! He's gonna be getting essentially all the Klay type looks, while Russell gets Stephs, right?

I mean those looks won't really exist for us because we're not as good as those guys but that's what we're working toward for sure.

If we somehow signed someone like Harkless, would you start him at the 2 and have Clark come off the bench with Ingram? Harkless would be great to have cause he can be that defensive dog we need with length to guard the other teams best scorer.

If only Clarkson was a couple inches taller.

Harkless is much more of a 3/4 than a 2/3. He doesn't have the lateral quickness to keep up with twos consistently.

If we signed him, he'd had to carve out a role behind both Ingram and Deng which is why there's not a ton of reasons to sign him for the Lakers other than to accumulate assets. Eventually when Deng hits the end of his contract/career, I think Harkless would be a great guy to bring off the bench and slide between 3/4 along with Ingram, but that's a long ways off and the Lakers/Harkless might not be that patient right now.

if ever, it's now. he's a prime candidate in terms of finding a better role in a new offense, though. loved the improvement he showed last year, even if it wasn't statistically evident. he was a better shooter and looked to be a better athlete, too. i'm hoping he does some special things this year. it will take some pressure off of the other young guys, too.

Rumor has it that he will be "pop" again soon. People close to him are saying he deeply regrets his decision and is likely going to switch back. But he was always her Dad, because when she was being raised by him, he was a he. Logically speaking...and I'm really stretching the use of that word in this instance.
