Too much ice in his veins probably... Zu will probably say "I get you better girlfriend... Just trust process."

Seriously...that's too bad. Russell is a bachelor in the swingiest place in the U.S. so he'll bounce back. It's not as if he looks like Buddy Hield... :giggle:

Zubac is already tied up, but I'm sure he knows plenty of women in Croatia

For those who missed the game Russell gave a good interview on NBATV.

The only thing that was not shown in this video and I don't know why was the last question Jared asks Russell which was basically those glass you wearing, are those real? Russell said he just wears them because they make him look intelligent/smart. Haha.

Starting to wonder if it will matter if we have a passing savant if he'd rather shoot.

I agree that Westbrook has Kobe's DNA. The only problem with that is, as good as he is, he is not Kobe. He can't just destroy teams by force of will like Kobe did. This is in no way a knock on Westbrook. No one else is Kobe either. Kobe was a different kind of cat cut from a different cloth. There is no one we can plug into Kobe's spot and have the same kind of success. It is time to go with some fun and exciting team ball. I want to see what Russell can do leading this team. I think he is going to be a superstar in the league and very soon.

You should see the letters the A-HOLE editor of the Times sports section chose to print today bashing Kobe in reporting Tim Duncan's retirement. I hate that em effer's guts.

A reporter asked Zubac about women in Croatia:

"Sometime my sister, she show her vazhïn to my brother Bilo and say "You will never get this you will never get it la la la la la la." He behind his cage. He cries, he cries and everybody laughs. She goes "You never get this." But one time he break cage and he "get this" and then we all laugh. High five!"

When did I say Westbrook is as good as Kobe? That's no knock because Kobe is one of the three best players to ever step on a basketball court. Best player of this era and he's RIGHT there with Jordan if you ask me. I give MJ a slight edge, but Kobe isn't far off. Westbrook is the closest thing we have to Kobe in the league. I don't wanna trade our core for him either because he's about to be a free agent, but I could at least understand why we would do it because Westbrook is a REAL superstar. Durant was out most of the 2014-2015 season, Westbrook missed about 15 as well and they still won 45 games because of Westbrook's dominance. Cousins doesn't have anywhere near that same impact.

I'm not sure if you're on board, but it's not real. It's from Borat.

Overall Russell had a fantastic rookie season. From a scoring stand point he was outstanding. He just needs to make better basketball decisions. Get Zubac some post touches. Get Ingram involved more. Penetrate and kick. Penetrate and dish and spoon feed a big. Passing out of the post by drawing doubles from that area of the court. Instead of settling for a mid range jumper once you get leverage on the defense take it all the way to the basket and draw that interior defense. Just needs to play with more control. I know he's capable of doing it. Just needs to slow it down and play more poised. He'll be fine.

If his minutes jump to 34, he'll be looking great: 18.9 points, 4.0 assists, 4.8 rebounds
