We really are wasting time with Brown. He's not our future, I can't understand why he's the one guy that Russ is able to consistently get the ball to in positions to shoot. I gave Brown more time to win me over and hasn't, he can't shoot for crap, and his D isn't good enough to make up for it. To be so bad that you make your team 4 on 5 on offense you need to be Artest, Ben Wallace, Rodman on defense. After 5 years of college and 1 year of the NBA, I'd you can't shoot by now, I don't have high hopes for you. Wish he wasn't taking up a roster spot.

I think the Cavs purposely left him open and dared him to shoot himself out of the slump. He couldn't do it.

But is it a "slump" if you have never existed in a place outside of it? His good shooting games, all..like, 2 of them, have been aberrations. He doesn't seem to be in a slump, he seems to not be able to perform at the NBA level offensively. I really don't want to give up on him already, but the kid is quickly becoming the new Ryan Kelly.

I don't think it's a slump. I've been pretty public about my lack of faith in Anthony. :D

I was saying it from the Cavs' perspective. I like Anthony, but honestly if he can't knock down a wide open shot, he needs to go.

Ingram played very well tonight. 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Really annoyed that scrub Brown didn't give him the ball when he was wide open on that last possession, but oh well. Ingram flashed the superstar potential he had.

Best showing all SL. And yes, he should have had the last shot. Can't wait to see what he can develop with the Team USA select team.

He had a great game. He was hitting threes, fadeaways (most nothing but net), making nice plays/passes, it was very good to see. With Russ out he was running the show a little more and he seemed to take on that role no problem. Seems like if the coaches want him to sit back and feel the game out, he will, if they want him to be aggressive and a playmaker, he will. He will play whatever role he's asked, love this kid already.

What's crazy is... If all we had was Zubac and Ingram moving forward I'd be pretty happy. Those two have a legitimate shot to be two of the top five players in this draft. Ben Simmons, Buddy Hield, and Kris Dunn being the others that spring to mind.

I know that sounds like Lakers bias, but I'm dead serious. These two look like fantastic prospects. Just those two should have any fan very, very excited about the future of this team. It might not be next year and it might not even be the year after, but there's just so much talent between those two players.

Marc may have been his idol and for good reason, but damn he has such great touch and feel for the game so young, I hope he was or does watch a little bit of Pau too on offense. Not defense at this point in Pau's career. He passes the ball well also.

The freaky thing about the Lakers this year was they needed, BADLY, a Small Forward and a Center. Before the lottery, we didnt know if the Lakers would get their pick still so the Lakers were in desperate need of those two positions and I was looking at free agency to fill those holes. Lakers may have filled in those holes for the next decade just from the draft. Zubac is no freakin joke. And Ingram is going to be a star.

Tonight really cemented why Ingram was the best choice for us. Simmons? he sat out the previous 2 games because he's tired. Mind you, he left his first SL game due to cramps. The LA and Philly game, he was scared to death to shoot anything beyond 3 feet. His passing is elite, but I question his desire, toughness, and shooting ability. Ingram is the wing player we need. Both will have fantastic careers, but I believe the ceiling is much higher for Ingram.

Yesterday was a nice showcase of his offensive versatility. Only 18 years old!

I wish we'd emphasized Ingram more often in Summer League. Yesterday (and the first game) he showed some fantastic ability to score but also pass the ball. Last night there was a play he drove to the rim and dropped a perfect bounce pass at an awkward and creative angle to Zubac between three defenders. Ingram is no slouch passing the ball. He may not have Simmons's insane vision, but he doesn't need it. Ingram showed great potential on all fronts while also being a good teammate and keeping a great head on his shoulders. I understand why Simmons went first, but boy I'm glad we got Brandon.

^Yeah, I was surprised at how good Brandon's floor game has been. He's very good at making the right pass..much better than I expected.
