yeah, he's kind of the opposite of green. he's a great finisher/slasher, but don't ask him to create offense for himself or others. that's where the marion comp comes from.

...a bigger Bobby Jones. That cat used to come down, jump and flush it on people's grills.

Those dunks in person were crazy. Insane. LARRY LARRY LARRY.

Also, his shot is looking much better. The form in person was great, and he looked very confident with it.

I used to always joke it looked as bad as Michael J. Fox's shot in Teen Wolf

Same here. His energy and hustle out there is contagious. I credit him as much for our win against Philly as I do Russell. He got the ball rolling and woke up the guys in the end 3rd/early 4th.

Seems he has much more confidence in his J. He's putting work in.

I LOVE THAT LARRY TOLD ZU HE WOULD DELIVER SOME PAYBACK FOR HIM GETTING POSTERIZED AND GLARED AT. He sure did twice. Monster jams that awoke the fans and his teammates, along with every other great thing he was doing in the 2nd half.

We need more variety with these Larry JAMS please. :Headbang:

Nance is looking great out there. Mitch and Jim did a helluva job picking out these dudes... I hope Randle is improving himself cause I don't mind Larry being a freaking starter at this point.

This dude Nance ban flat out ball, man. He's just a basketball player and a good one at that. He'll play a lot of minutes this year; like Julius, they'll split time at the 4 and 5 and probably even play together; Nance is shooting 50% from three so far. Small sample size, I know. But, hey, it's better than A. Brown. :)

His shot looks sooo improved. The left hand doesn't go flying off nearly as too fast as when he first came to the Lakers.

Nance's follow through is smoothing out... He is accurate straight on from the key but so-so from the elbows. Just a little bit more arc...

He's going to be able to dive or pop out on the pick in roll. In the third quarter of last game, when we turned it around, we simplified things by going to Russell/Nance pick in rolls. I'd like to see a lot of that during the regular season.

I see this Walton experiment as I posted before:

Russell, Clarkson, Ingram, Nance and Randle.

Our own version of The Line-Up of Death. Wide open five but with just enough bulk to board... All this when Ingram has acclimated himself to the speed of the game and more seasoned competition.

Why did someone like Nance Jr. go so late in the draft? Was his knee issue that bad in Wyoming? Nance Jr. should have been a late lottery or middle round pick. His defense and athleticism is amazing.

He did have a knee injury he was getting over but also he was a 4 year guy from a smaller school. Flavor of the day kiss of death.....errrr......dropping down in the draft. The horror. 4 years in School and Basketball? What's wrong with him?

Didnt the NBA scouts learn their lesson on 4 years in small program with Curry and Lilliard yet? Glad the Lakers aren't stupid.
