It's such a treat to watch his energy and hustle out there. If he can get a jumper, watch out. Another great pick.

Agreed...Nance is not as hesitant on it. I laughed at his joke about his father's highlights recorded in black and white as opposed to color.

The best thing about Nance is actually what a nice guy he is. Perfect team player.

That could be right if both knock on wood retain their health. But then becomes a good problem to have for smart coaches like Luke and his seemingly so far great staff to have. Staggered minutes .... small ball center for Randle? Other offensive ideas for utilizing him? If they can teach him solid man to man defense with his prime Artest like strength, and he's also gotten better with his J, and more under control .... look the hell out. But yeah ....go Nance!! :Headbang:

Speaking of Larry I was coming to say after catching up above .... Raise your hand if you think Larry's J is looking much better and you would love to have the staff tell him they "want" him to be more aggressive on offense. Mine is up for sure. His handles in the open court and in general are looking better too. The guy keeps saying he knows his place and isn't looking to change his approach, but man if they tell him to ..... I want to see what he can become. He is a hard cover with that athleticism and his shot looking more sweet even than last year form wise when he got hot before tweaking his knee or ankle. Mix in better handles and if they try to play him closer this is what can happen at any moment.

And he is really bringing it on defense. Perfect call by the coach to have Larry on Simmons most of the game. He did good. :Headbang:

He looks great tbh and that jumper of his is definitely improved. Yeah we all know its summer league but this Sixers team has some seasoned vets playing and he played with composure. I do really enjoy Larry as a player and a person very humble and honest, he gives great interviews as well. Randle and Clarkson need to improve in that dept its like pulling teeth listening to their interviews..lol

I've always seen Nance as a poor man's matrix. I think we can drop the qualifier. He has a ways to go, but that's a reasonable ceiling.

I was so mad when we drafted Nance. Count me in the group that was clearly wrong.

Shawn Marion is exactly who comes to mind when I watch Nance.

I agree its a great comparison. Main difference are Nance is a lot more athletic but Marion is the better overall defender.

Without the worst looking J in the history of the League. Yeah that would not suck for that kind of upside.

I said Nocioni when we drafted him. I stand by that.

marion was actually a better athlete, all things considered (lateral quickness the biggie here). but nance is bigger and may actually have better ball skills than marion did. still, rodg is probably closer with nocioni.

i have trouble finding a good comp. i do know that julius better learn how to play off the ball or find himself losing minutes.

If he gets a jumper, he is Draymond Green with freakish hops. Lakers have an interesting dilemma in the near future. If all these guys hit, they are going to be paying up the rear for them.

That dunk tho! He took off from the free throw circle. If he's healthy, I hope he's in slam dunk contest.

Draymond is a poor comparison. Draymond has great handles for a big guy and can create for others. Things Nance has none of.
