    If we're not going to stretch him for added cap room, there is really no rush to cut him. He's not the kind of guy whose going to be going into the practice facility too much during the summer...

    We probably hold on to him just in case a trade comes up where we need to throw in his contract. Even if it's facilitating trades between other teams. Or maybe after the dust settles in free agency, Nick's value goes up. Maybe some team realizes they still need a scoring guard off the bench and would rather trade us a second rounder for Nick at $5 million rather than having to dish out more money for one of the leftovers in free agency.

    We replaced THAT with Luol Deng who is a humanitarian and a professional. It should have happened sooner.
