    I love that we kept him. I feel like he's going to have a solid season this year now that the Byron effect is gone.

    Hopefully we see more of that last game vs Utah defense and blocks from him this year.

    Great move at a good price in today's market.

    With his connection to Luke, I didn't see him going anywhere. And I actually think he'll thrive, have a consistent role and will be in the rotation.

    I'm very pleased about this signing. I like Tarik a lot and like the Lakers I couldn't understand why Boron refused to play him. Hearing about his previous connection with Luke heartened me and I think he will play well for him.

    Tarik in starting minutes can flirt with double doubles. Even in a garbage offense. I think he will be okay in 10-15 minutes per game.

    Having Mozgov take a bulk of minutes as the starter can allow Tarik to shine in a small ball Center role. Given the right direction I think it's something he can thrive in. Hearing Byron trying to force him to be a PF when Tarik is clearly an undersized C was frustrating. Now he gets the perfect coach to help him embrace that role.

    BS did him dirty last season. Glad Black got a payday for dealing with that bs. He has a strong connection with Luke and I think he'll thrive as the small ball center off the bench
