Because quotas right? I'm done with the Kelly, Sacre experiment, they are a reminder of the dark times. I'd be happy to let Mr Invisible take that spot.
Kelly had a few moments last year that had us all scratching our heads wondering if he actually had game. Then Byron. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we have a spot for him. But, that is different that saying he would benefit from an offense like this.
Someone has to be "pale" since you know who won't be taken with number 2 and Huertas is too short to count for a whole player.
Ryan Kelly may have been an NBA player at one time, but the way he was pushed around here probably killed his NBA career.
Shouldn't, if he ever remembers how to shoot the ball. And I agree that the new system and coach would probably benefit him as well. But yeah may be too late here.
Never heard of him before I looked him up after Dave Millers' tweet but he sounds like he has a good relationship with Luke and would be good with our young guys. Good enough for me.
To be honest, I've never really heard of any of the assistant coaches some of you have been wanting. I barely knew the assistant coaches on our own staff the past few years. I've barely been able to pay attention to potential free agent players on other teams, so I have no idea how some of you have been able to pay so much attention to other teams to know how qualified their assistants are.
warriors are wrong. espn told me he's the 7th best coach (out of 11) hired this year. now, had the houston rockets hired him...
Clowns. They're all Laker haters. Kobe whom I trust knows GAME told DAR he was one of the top 2 in the league already. Pop and him? Kobe doesn't blow smoke. Remember the 3 moves ahead vision of Luke as a player observations from Kobe as a player?
I listened some post game interviews last night of him to gauge his personality and basketball intelligence. I walked away really impressed and I love his personality he carries himself with - jovial, friendly, out going. Seems to have a good relationship with all his players he's coached.
Wow I like him, just from some of the footage in both clips. Positive guy, like Luke. LOL in the first one a couple minutes in he said he wanted to punch his player in the face (in a fun but making the point way) because he was passing up good looks. These guys from last couple of years with Boron will think their whole world is bright and shiny and fun again playing basketball for next year's staff. And Brian Shaw. Probably some defensive hire coming in. Way to go Jim and Mitch with going out and firing Byron's a** and getting Luke while that tiny window of opportunity was there.
